Overall
A perfect example of what's wrong with the church.

For some reason, St. James Church has always been plagued with awful priests throughout the decades, and its current resident, Fr. Foley is no exception. As a matter of fact, he is one of the most self-centered, cold, arrogant, pompous twits I have ever met in my entire life. Don't bother asking him for advice, because the only problems he is interested in solving are his own. He looks down on people, and it doesn't matter whether they're rich or poor. The only one that matters most in his little, conceited world is himself, and it shows in his lifeless sermons. The only one he truly cares about is himself, and whatever money he can raise for the next paint job to raise his standing within the church. It's clergymen like Foley who represent what's currently wrong with the church on a wider scale; increasingly being out of touch with the communities that they're supposed to serve. Of course, that doesn't mean that all priests are bad, but it takes just one rotten apple to spoil the whole bunch. As for Foley, this is truly the wrong line of work for him. Repo man or politician would've better career choices for someone trying to earn a living as an a***ole. You can't spell ""Father"" or ""Foley"" without an ""F., but in his case, the ""F"" stands for failure. As long as he's still there, you're better off bypassing St. James for Mission Dolores or someplace else where they respect for people and are dedicated to the community.
