You can find some of the coolest in Nike attire and accessories in this store, which I visit each time I'm in San Francisco. The store is three or four stories, each with different "departments" featuring shoes, clothing and accessories by sport or activity and by gender. I've been here when there are special events going on and they've even had a live DJ on site, which adds to the atmosphere. Great store!

I don't shop at this store but I do drop off all my old athletic shoes there. Bring them to the customer service department on the 4th floor. Nike uses the discards to turn them into black tops, tennis courts, and other athletic surfaces. It's a good way to do something for the community and the environment.

you won't find cheap prices @ Niketown. if you want stuff off the sale rack go to footlocker or the mall. Niketown has all the latest sneakers and clothes, new Air Jordans etc..but it's full price. so bring the Gold card. This place is basically a shrine to Corporate Nike and all their paid-endorsees (the athletes) Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods etc...bottom line: good selection but $$$""

I think Utah hit the nail on the head. This isn't a discount store, and yes, you can get the latest in Nike fashion, but all of their athletic gear is high quality and do the job. I love the women's work out gear. It's fashionable, but most importantly functional. They also carry the sizes that most stores don't. I'm a size 10 1/2 in women's shoes. Now that's a tough size to find. Many manufacturers stop making half sizes at 9 1/2. But Nike does make them, and you can probably find them here. If not, they'll ship them to the Nike store nearest you. I like this Nike Town and the one in Costa Mesa. The one in Beverly Hills doesnt have as great as a selection as the others do and for me the staff isnt as helpful.
