Vegetarians rule!

Cutesy place.

Clean and modern and sort of girly. Cream color decor and all the plates and aprons have the logo on it ""Loving Hut"". How can that not put you in a good mood?

Everything is vegetarian, so when you are ordering your BBQ pork dish, it's vegetarian BBQ pork, it may look like the real deal but it's not. It tastes a little like it though so no worries.

Food is okay, flavorful, and the portions are large. I personally whenever eating the vegetarian imitation of meat or something can tell the difference but that is because I'm mean and looking for the difference. If I judged based on just taste and didn't compare to the real deal it would all taste fine.

Tons of American options like pesto spaghetti, and ""chicken"" nuggets alongside Chinese options like won ton soup, spring rolls, potstickers (catering to the Americanized Chinese diner) and BBQ ""pork"". So it's enough to make everyone happy. Good location in Chinatown/North Beach border area, for tourists that may have a group that needs both some American food and also may want to try some Asian food, vegetarian style.

The service was quick and the girls that work there were nice. The food itself was okay, a little more on the mild side than super flavorful side but that was okay for us. The salad I had, which I forget the name now, was one of the first ones in the salad section in the menu was pretty much lots of cabbage, carrots, chopped peanuts and a yummy vinaigrette- huge portion! Also the potato salad was okay, and the won ton soup was pretty good, you could almost not tell it wasn't real meat inside the won tons. My grandmother was shocked that it was vegetarian.

For our little group this worked because I got a salad, my mom got vegetrian good, and my grandmother thought she got won tons until she found out it was fake meat but she was okay with that. Win win for all.
