Crosswalk has the most restrictive return policy I've ever encountered. Be sure you really, really want the shoes you're buying because you'll be stuck with them if you change your mind! Every other merchant with whom I've done business will accept returns within 30 days and, if you buy with a credit card, your credit card will be credited. Not so at Crosswalk! I bought a pair of shoes right before going on vacation, decided I didn't want the shoes (which I never wore) and tried to return them. Because I had them more than 15 days, I couldn't return them, couldn't exchange them, couldn't receive store credit. Does anyone want to buy a brand new pair of Pirouette 2 Earth Shoes, size 8-1/2? If I could, I would give Crosswalk ZERO stars!

to all women who breastfeed their children, DO NOT SHOP HERE, there was an incident at this store where the manager demanded a mom stop nursing or leave the store. this illegal, insensitive and offensive to any woman who has ever nursed a baby. show them this is not right and support your fellow breastfeeding moms. they dont deserve our money or our business. and to the manager who started this, i hope you never have a baby and have to deal with someone like yourself when you are FEEDING YOUR CHILD.......... goo dluck, you have really started some s*#t now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One pair of sandals I bought there (out of 3), on the first wear out of the house, the front toe of both sandals bent under at different times, catching and scraping as I was walking down a normal sidewalk. I figured even if I got them repaired this would keep happening, so with receipt in hand, I went to return them. They hadn't been on sale, I had the receipt, and I thought it wouldn't be a problem. The Manager, Venus, told me that she wouldn't be able to take them back and was rude about it, saying it was my fault they were scraped, and actually asked me if I had bought too big a size. The best she was able to offer was the manufacturer's customer service number. She told me the owner of the shop's number was private and wouldn't give it to me.
I like to support small, locally-owned businesses. The good thing about living in San Francisco is that I'm sure that when I'm again in the market for shoes, I'll find a better, more cooperative source.
