Why Jiu-Jitsu/Judo for Kids? Grappling is a great activity which not only improves physical fitness, but also helps children learn lifelong skills such as body coordination and overcoming fear, while helping to increase a child’s self esteem in a healthy, safe, and fun environment. Grappling is the ideal activity for children since it emphasizes leverage and technique over strength and power. The classes are full of activities which range from skill application to fun technique drills and LOTS of grappling games.
