Overall
Bad Experience!

I called Chronicle Books because they state on their home page that they are interested in unusual books.
I know of a beautifully illustrated and poetic children's science book that has never been published because the writer, who is the widower of the illustrator was not able to pursue publishing after his wife passed away.
The receptionist would not let me speak to anyone at the company or explain this unusual situation to anyone. In addition to her rude attitude, she insulted me. This was a completely disappointing experience.
