Chaya Brasserie

This is a really classy spot on the embarcadero in the SOMA area. I went here with some friends on a friday and it was fairly packed but most people here come for the happy hour special. We went in for the dinner and they try to sell you on the sushi sampler. They make it sound great and it is but they don't tell you the price. Little did we know it was about 35 dollars a head for the sampler which barely made a dent in our appetite. Definitely over priced in my opinion but the ambiance and my main course was good so I will not drop it any more stars.
