General Info
Bar 821 boast one of San Francisco's largest selections of Amari, those deliciously bittersweet, herbal liqueurs largely known for their digestive properties. Given that Amari is traditionally and best enjoyed on their own or with a rock or two, the bar features an entire menu devoted to all things bitter alongside an Amaro themed cocktail list. Bar 821 selection of spirits from Mezcal to Gin to whisky is one of the best, also being the oldest watering hole amongst the increasingly popular Divisadero stretch. Happy Hour is daily from 4-7 pm offering bartenders choice of a spirits, shot, and beer. Bar 821 is an ideal spot to host private events for groups of 20 to 50 people, just shoot us an email so we can assist with the details. Whether one is looking for a pre-dinner aperitif, a post-dinner Amaro, or just a friendly place to sip a beer, guests should expect a warm atmosphere with refreshingly intriguing spirits offering.

Best Value, Atmosphere & Mojito

Ive been there few times & love it every time. Thier design coupled with their incredible simple wine, champaigne & coctail list with its unusual very competitive prices makes this hang out the jewel of the city.
You are ok there dressed casual but it is far from being that. Great as a date spot over a bottle of wine or a place to check before dinner at Tsunami sushi or any of the area's hangouts. Try their Mojito it i9s truly the best you will have... One is never enough..

Great hideout

You're probablt likely to miss this place, if you dont know about it already. No signs, but a set of blue bulbs above the door. Great belgian beer, small but very cozy space, great for drinks before dinner, because they close pretty early.
