We caught the boat early in the day with the sun near the Bay Bridge. It made for some great photos of Alcatraz Island. The prison history was cool, and well presented (that is the tax dollars at work - thank you, US Park Service). I especially liked the old Civil War cannon and the Island Model.
I liked the model so much, I bought an Alcatraz game in the coffee shop. The coffee was average, but the staff was really nice. The Escape From Alcatraz game was heaps fun to play, too! Have a look ->
