Stayed here for four nights in October - the rooms are small but I expected this... and was fine actually but a bit cramped for us with the amount of luggage we had. The room has all needed amenities. The bed was comfortable but small. The staff were all great, very friendly. The location has pros and cons... yes there are homeless all around, but you have to expect this pretty much anywhere in SF now... they are not aggressive or rude, we didnt once feel the need to get a cab/uber even returning late at night. There are great bars and eating places very near the hotel..I recommend Whitechapel for cocktails. all in all I would gladly stay again... thanks Epik!

Have had a wonderful experience from the modern rooms to the awesome lighting. Jeff is an amazing associate. He was helping every person that walked through the door. Not kidding I've seen this guy go above and beyond to make people stoked. We will return again soon
It was nice sized for a single person
This hotel is a real gem! The rooms are lovely - newly furnished & very modern. The rooms were spotless, so clean & fresh. Joseph & Brandon at reception were so accommodating, friendly, & helpful.Location is very central, close to Civic Centre BART (about 10 min walk). Plenty of places to eat nearby, supermarket, & bars.
It is a nice little self sufficient place. Management on site, but not 24 hour reception. Key pad code used to get in and out. Quiet in the building, some noise in alley. I had a private queen with bathroom and I am glad not to share, although the shared bathroom in hallway always looked clean. It is located on the main strip where homeless folks live but not completely unsafe - homeless folks were very friendly for the most part. Good TV, fridge, bed was comfortable enough with lots of pillows, and a comfy chair to sit in.
The hotel is very clean, modern, comfortable, with great design and service. Brendon in the front desk was very helpful and kind.
Had a great overall experience staying here. Yes, the rooms are really small, but they're comfortable (loved the bed!), and the amenities are great (Nespresso machine, fruity water downstairs, great shower). The front desk was handing out drink vouchers for the hotel bar like candy, so we had a couple nightcaps there, which was fun and convenient.
It was a good experience to have stayed at Yale hotel.
Front desk was very helpful in getting a shuttle and also with questions. The room was clean and had plenty of amenities.
