Hello there- Everyone knows that BAD news spreads faster than the speed of light. On the flip side- Any business owner can tell you just how agonizingly slowwwww, GOOD news takes to filter, through the collective conciousness. That is why as a fellow small business owner; I felt it a moral imperative to let any & all who happen to need some window work done; know that 24 hours/per day, 7 days/per week-->more knowledgeable, efficient & expeditious service cannot be found. Thank you Central City Glass! Sincerely, Jeremy Mayfield President/CEO Better Than Yours Inc. DBA: The Jerky Kids(tm) www.TheJerkyKids.com

People are always asking me, “Hey, where should I go to get a burger in the city?” It’s taken me awhile, but I’m pretty sure that I’ve hit up every good burger joint in the FiDi’s vicinity from Perry’s to Grumpy’s or Old Ship. I love each of these places for different reasons. For bbq burgers, Grumpy’s wins. For marinated goodness, the Bricksburger at Old Ship wins. But for what I would consider the best, biggest, beefiest baddest-assed burger, I now answer, “Harrington’s. You should go to Harrington’s.” Go there for lunch. Go there for happy hour. Just do yourself a favor and go. Tell them, Benny-HaHa sent you and maybe they’ll forget to add one your Redhook ESB’s to your tab…
$10 gets you an 8 oz beer, a shot, and some delicious jerky! All three are of your choosing from the 4 options listed for this wonderful combo. If you don't want that, well... You crazy! .....JK (: Cocktails look good here and are about $12 each. There's some reasonably priced beer as well. Got the Evil Twin (and to avoid confusion, it's a citrus mezcal cocktail, NOT the beer. I thought it was a beer at first glance too) and it looks very pretty, but boy, it can totally sneak up on you. It tastes pleasant and ends with just a hint of mezcal. I can drink this all night and be a happy guy!!! Chill space too. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in that neighborhood.
I've been a season ticketholder for 5 years. I love to have a drink before or after every Giants game I attend, outside of the ballpark of course. I happened to walk by this place last Sunday after the Dodgers gave us the game. My first impression was, "WOW, this place is really nice and had i had a great casual atmosphere. The layout was big and open. You can easily find anyone in the place if you go to the upper loft area which has 2 poot tables. From there, you can people watch and enjoy your drink. The people and staff were excellent and I did not wait long for service. My wife and friends will definately visit Pete's Tavern again!!!
I first met Marlena back in June 1997. The bar has been through some changes. For a while there were some bartenders that were just rude and were not the best fit. Luckily the staff they have now is wonderful. There's TJ, Bradley, Elmer, Glenn, Curtis, Jonathan & Marlena herself. The Hayes Valley Follies Show every Saturday is a true gem. And when it comes to charity fundraising no one has this bar beat...from the patrons to Marlena everyone is so generous.
real cozy place with LIVE MUSIC nights (check web or call for schedule). they even have a piano & guitar on site, or bring your own! friendly bar tenders (eye candy!) & great service! there's even a pool table, so get some quarters & let's play! the un-live (piped in) music is awesome too! I was rocking out to the Cure (Lulabye), Concrete Blonde (Bloodletting/Vampire) just to name a few! had a really nice time, bet you will too! Susan Dezirey
Well, it is the Mission so you'll see hipsters everywhere. But unlike places like this in Los, these kids dance and have fun. Me crew went there on a Northern Soul night and it was cracking good time. Pints were cheap and it was bloody packed. Nevertheless, we had a laugh on the dancefloor and chatted up some of the locals. Mental! Overall, a lovely popular pub in the heart of the Mission.
the end up used to be a hit. these days it is really boring. the cover charge is rediculous, usually 20, if not more. the crowd seems to be mostly hetro/asain gangster ravers. i used to love sunday mornings at the endup. dont bother. instead head over to north beach at 6 am to the purple onion. they have a groovy party without the sketch. great music and crowd $10, awesome location.
Great food, super friendly staff. Tupelo has a warm, cozy, casual atmosphere - the kind of restaurant-pub that you feel right at home in. Except that the food in MY home isn't nearly as delicious as it it here! Try the wedge salad, fried green tomatoes, amaaaazing burgers and whatever soup is on. Actually - try it all. I haven't had a bad meal yet!
Bar Crudo has some of the most unique food in the City. I've only been here once but I had the best meal. I left not feeling too full, but content. The raw fish doesn't weigh you down. I loved the lobster salad and the raw fish sampler. Can't wait to go back! I'm also looking forward to their expansion in NOPA.
