I was in San Francsico visiting a friend when she suggested we go eat at Burger Meister. At first I was a little skeptical because of the prices (prepare to spend $6 per burger, if not more), but it was indeed well worth it. The burgers were HUGE, well done (I dislike any pink in the middle), and tasted excellent! The place had a great interior design, and a nice high-top table with comfy stools. The employees were also friendly and professional. If you're ever in the mood for some tasty burgers, you should check out BM.

From Business: The best burgers are nothing like any burger you've ever had. Big Chef Tom's Belly Burgers is a San Francisco restaurant that serves 100% fresh ground pork belly …
Okay, so it is true that if you put mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce on cardboard it would taste good. But.. these folks went and dumped all of that on a turkey sausage and wrapped it up in a soft sesame bun. I give that dog 5 stars. Zogs lost 1 star because they did not provide chairs or a couple of tables and they lost another because they do not provide the T-Day dog all year. Overall, a nice spot to mix up the normal lunch places here in SF.
Harvey's is a great place to start an evening out in the Castro. The staff is usually very friendly and the drinks are good. The burgers are the best thing on the menu but the chicken sandwiches and salads are pretty good too. If you happen to get their on a comedy night or drag show it can be crowded but lots of fun. And being right on the corner of Castro and 18th street means there is always lots of eyecandy walking by!
went here during my first trip to San Francisco. it was about 7 blocks from my hotel but well worth the walk. the burger was cooked to order and the fries were SO good! they had a unbelievable crispiness to them! i will definitely go back if im make it to san fran again!
The people behind the counter are very nice and helpful. Pork ribs: dry Chicken: dry Sandwiches: good Moral of the story is it's a hamburger place, not a BBQ joint. Comment back and let me know where to find good ribs!
Roam is my favorite neighborhood burger joint. Local meat and fresh ingredients make their burgers the best! Don't forget the fry-fecta with three kinds of fries and unique toppings.
They have good salads, but their burgers are always well done. If I'm going to have a burger, I want it to be really good and wouldn't waste the experience here.
While it's a chain this smaller local chain does an excellent job of making fresh innovative choices. Lots of vegie options, keeps the carnivores happy too.
Super duper burgers are just that! Old style juice running down your arm. Killer garlic fries. Fresh salad with lots of veggies. Will be back
Great Burgers!!!! I love this place..... everytime I visit the city I stop here and have never been disapointed with my meal or the service.
