I KNOW MY REVIEW IS TO FREEKING LONG / A MAKE NO APOLOGIES FOR THAT !I discovered Eduardo (the co-owner) at Echos Hair Design in July, He gave me the best hair cut I'd ever had. I went from all one length, past the shoulder long hair to a 'Louise Brooks' bob look that ended at the jaw line. (It was right before a trip to Paris, and I felt like a star in the French city!) I'd never experienced such an eye for detail before while having my hair cut. Painstakingly, he measured, trimmed, evaluated and trimmed to even things up as needed. I walked out feeling like a million dollars! If you aren't happy with your hair, he isn't happy either and will take the time to make it right so that you will love it at the end (Heck, even if you don't realize there's something to be unhappy with, he will take the time to fix it!)His initial consultations are also a treat he is not rushed . He listens to what I'm saying and states it back to me to avoid any confusion and he's able to see my personal hair patterns and he can determine the best places to trim it. He looks at the whole picture, not just the hair and consistently gives a cut that looks terrific with my face shape. I have never seen anybody get out of any seat in that salon and not have a great look. If you're interested in edgy, quirky, and fun, this is your place! And if you just want a simple trim for your locks, he does that exquisitely as well!, In the past I have experience trims from HELL, so even when I get a trim I can close my eyes and relax and know that Eduardo is not going to cut inches of my head. He recommend coloring my hair, I mentioned I have no interest in color he has never brought it up again! And I love booking my appointments online .Price wise Eduardo is less expensive than my boy in New York but I will not mention that to him unless of course he reads my review , the value of the work done at Echos Hair Design has made a return customer out of me! If Eduardo were to move, I'd have to go to wherever he is to have my hair cut!
This review is not about my experience with CWTD Cab ride but about character of one of their leased Cab owner. I live in a gated housing complex in Oakland, Ca. There are 12 houses in this complex. Some areas inside the complex are marked red "Fire Lane" by City of Oakland and Oalkand Fire Dept for emergency vehicle parking only. Everyday at night and sometimes during the day a City Wide Cab #360, CA DMV Reg #16001U1 is parked in the Fire-Lane. I believe the Cab owner also lives here or around the complex. It's not that the Car is just sitting idle there. The owner actually use our Fire lane as parking spot.Several times I brought this to the attention of CWTD and they acknowledged that this Cab is leased to a driver. They told me to call tow company, but we can't call to tow since this is a private property. It looks like CWTD tries to wash up their hand as if it is not their problem. I just like to inform CWTD that ultimately they have leased Cab to a drive who is irresponsible and do not care safety of other homeowners in the complex. It is the responsibility of CWTD to train their drivers where to park and where not to. If something happens to our complex and emergency vehicle is unable to park, we will held CWTD responsible
$10 gets you an 8 oz beer, a shot, and some delicious jerky! All three are of your choosing from the 4 options listed for this wonderful combo. If you don't want that, well... You crazy! .....JK (: Cocktails look good here and are about $12 each. There's some reasonably priced beer as well. Got the Evil Twin (and to avoid confusion, it's a citrus mezcal cocktail, NOT the beer. I thought it was a beer at first glance too) and it looks very pretty, but boy, it can totally sneak up on you. It tastes pleasant and ends with just a hint of mezcal. I can drink this all night and be a happy guy!!!Chill space too. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in that neighborhood.
This place is fantastic - great food, decent price. I've actually never had a sit down meal here, although the inside looks like. My introduction was via their delivery service, which is pretty good and takes about 45 minutes to get to my Cole Valley flat, and from my almost-weekly to-go pickup en route to the Planet Granite climbing gym. The $15 minimum makes ordering for one irritating (because you end up with two entrees), but the food is worth it. Sesame chicken is delicious, the four seasons chow mein is pretty decent, and the lemon chicken is nice and crispy with the lemon sauce served on the side.
I love Chinese food, and this is my all time favorite place to enjoy it. I live in the East Bay, but I always try to find an excuse to eat here whenever possible, I've yet to try anything that wasn't tasty beyond my expectations. Everything from their home made leak dumplings and fresh chow mein noodles, crispy and flavorful chicken wings, cherry pork, and peanut noodles. I always order extra, so I can have some to take home with me. The place is a tasty delight and reasonably priced. But get their early, because at night it can get very busy!
This nail salon is indeed as amazing as it gets! I have never been to a place that is as modern and clean as this place and I have been to many nail salons in many cities and even countries. Always very friendly. They work very hard. I'd say if you want something "quick and dirty" - this place may not be for you. It takes a bit of time, but if you value quality, ambiance, and attention to detail, this is the best salon for sure. You won't be disappointed though.
real cozy place with LIVE MUSIC nights (check web or call for schedule). they even have a piano & guitar on site, or bring your own! friendly bar tenders (eye candy!) & great service! there's even a pool table, so get some quarters & let's play! the un-live (piped in) music is awesome too! I was rocking out to the Cure (Lulabye), Concrete Blonde (Bloodletting/Vampire) just to name a few! had a really nice time, bet you will too! Susan Dezirey
Very convenient location! At first I would come to North Point Center just to go to Safeway or the gym but one day I decided to eat here with my girlfriend and I was blown away! The food is made fresh right in front of your eyes and the customer service is phenomenal. They remember you by name and they are always ready to serve you with a smile. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Please do not expect you'd find good ambience, quiet, 5 stars service even when you are putting your order. What matters the most is the food and for the last decade i always came back to have lunch here during work days putting orders from the menu posted behind the cashier register. The last double digit years most of the time i usually ordered the fried fish over rice - i probably would say one of the best fried fish over rice in the city.
This is the first time I have been in San Francisco and this restaurant was the best I have had in a while! My husband and I got 10 dumplings a hot and sour soup and sweet cakes for $17!!! Really good food, great atmosphere!! Very bustling. I would go back in a heart beat and may just be heading back for supper tomorrow!!! There are a lot of different dumplings to try. Just go, try it, the food speaks for itself!
