I took my 2006 Mazda 6 to Bryant Auto Body after being pushed around by other Body Shops about using OEM parts. I wanted my vehicle restored to its original condition by using only factory parts after an accident. I came all the way from the east bay after talking with Ian (owner) because he said he would use only OEM parts and he would take care of dealing with the insurance company. It was such a great experience working with Ian because he took care of everything. He was there to greet me in the morning and also took care of calling for a rental car to pick me up. I was also happy to see that he worked on high end vehicles as well. He had a Porsche Turbo he was repairing major damages to as well a brand new Mercedes CLS 65AMG. I just got the car back today and it looked PERFECT!!! He also had detailed my car for me inside and out. I will always go to Bryant Auto Body in the future because of there great customer service and great work to there vehicles. Ian and Herman (owners) are both great guys and great to work with.

I first went to Rob's shop because something fell off my car and I happened to be driving down Valencia. I thought it must have been a slow day, because Rob fixed it on the spot, no charge. It happened again a year later, I stopped in at Consumer, same thing. So, when my bumper and driver's side door got crunched by two separate people attempting u-turns on my narrow street, of course I took it to Rob instead of the 'official' insurance body shops. He did an amazing job - my battered city car looked like new (from one side at least), and handled the insurance as well as the uninsured guy that hit my car. And, when I asked him to fix another scrape on the other side, he advised me against it because it would be pretty expensive, and it would probably just happen again. Big stars (as if he needs more) for not just taking the extra money like many shops would do. Thanks Rob!
WOW! My new fiance and I (we had got engaged that day) went here to celebrate on the evening of our engagement. We each had a 5 course meal, in total 10 different dishes. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was even better. We both left feeling full, but not too full, but completely satisfied. We had: ahi tuna appetizer, roast maine lobster, herb crusted lamb, filet of beef, seared sea bass, cheese plate, pumpkin soup, pear tart tartini, bananas flambe, and chocolate souffle. We also got 2 glasses of champagne. Since we were also celebrating his birthday, they gave us a little lemon mousse cake with a candle and sent us home with a pumpkin bread wrapped up to-go. Absolutely a must do if you're in SF. Worth all the money we paid. Only complaint is that you sit fairly close to other tables, so you don't really have much privacy.
This is another must-visit San Francisco establishment that I have been frequenting ever since it opened in the 90s. I noticed that some folks have used the phrase, "tourist trap." While I agree that tourists do frequent this spot, I must point out that this is certainly no "trap." And as someone who loves and is proud of San Francisco, I actually INVITE tourists to visit Beach Chalet, so that I can share with them one of my favorite spots in the City. Beach Chalet is also a microbrewery restaurant that offers top notch craft beers. Beach Chalet upstairs; Park Chalet downstairs - can't go wrong with either - both offer excellent libations, and also live entertainment on most nights. Oh, and if you have never been, set aside 5-10 minutes to browse the murals and museum-artifacts and the scale model of Golden Gate Park.
THE EATS: Spanish Chorizo -- A dish that came with a full, juicy, chorizo link instead of the normally smaller ground up pieces you find in a chorizo dish. Accompanied by a handful of perfectly seasoned potatoes and two even more perfectly done poached eggs. Super thin pieces of cheese were grated over the dish as a finishing touch. This dish definitely did not disappoint. If you're a fan of eggs + sausage, don't hesitate on this one! Soft-Scrambled eggs -- Super simple and classic, yet somehow they've made this a fancy $$$-worthy dish. The eggs are extremely yolk-y (very yellow, very creamy) and true to its name (very soft.) Carefully poured onto a large piece of crispy grilled toast that is topped by a couple slices of tasso ham and spinach, this dish was not only beautiful to look at, but also mouth-watering good.
After a trip to the country side and a run in with a big old deer, I refrained from taking my car to the local auto body shop in the town I was visiting for the weekend and drove my car back to the City so I could take it to Consumers Auto Body & Repair. I had taken a vehicle to them before and was so pleased with how efficient and professional they were that there was no question I would give them my business again. The deer had done a number on the front end of my car but Consumers gave me what I thought was a very reasonable quote and, after telling some of my more car-savvy buddies what the quote was they said I'd been given an amazing deal. Two and a half weeks after I took my car in, all beaten up and dented, Consumers returned my car and it looked better than ever. This is an auto body shop you can trust.
i found this body shop just randomly looking for a place to get an estimate on my rear-ended car. long story short, i soon lucked out. claudio and richard are genuinely helpful, gracious, and talented. they took care of all details from arranging a rental car and filing with insurance to fixing up the car beautifully. they also pointed out that my car had a few mechanical problems and made helpful suggestions. due to a problem, my car was low on oil. they actually went to the gas station, purchased oil, put it in the car and wouldn't take any money!!! i highly recommend this ethical body shop to everybody.
We randomly picked this place while in SF and it was a great decision. It was packed and about a 45 minute wait but we grabbed a table at the bar right away. The sourdough chowder bowl was fantastic!! We also got the fish tacos but it wasn't worth the $18. They screwed up the taco order, then forgot to put it on the bill, and then added it but added the wrong amount of tacos and in the end they just comped us the tacos. The staff was super friendly and patient. Love seeing the bread being made right there and how they carry it around the ceiling in the baskets.
Rob Song and his team at Consumers Auto Body & Repair are excellent. Rob is unbelievably honest and more than fair in his estimates. The first time I used Consumers Auto Body & Repair was a front windshield replacement. Rob used a new generic windshield that was way less costly than the dealer's and we've had no problems with it. And that's another wonderful characteristic about this business, they guarantee their work. They are reliable and timely, and if I remember correctly, they also washed our dirty car.
Rob Song at Consumers Auto Body was great. He quoted a great price for the smashed-in side of my daughter's Honda, and he did a lot of extra stuff too, like touching up the bumper, disconnecting a faulty security system, and gluing some fabric back to the interior of a door. The car was ready when he said it would be, and the paint matches perfectly; there's not even a hint of the damage. I've had more than my fair share of body work done, and I'd go back and/or recommend this place in a second.
