My wife Cheryl and I moved to San Diego last October from Los Angeles. After 3 months of researching and visiting dozens of apartment communities, we selected Cresta Bella. We met, without a doubt, the most competent leasing agent and one very good man. We love Cresta Bella's amenities and our apartment, but I do have to add that our leasing agent, Zeplin, was the deciding reason we moved in. He is honest, hard working, and keeps his word. It's a great place to live, come see and talk with Zeplin.
I am a current resident at the Lofts at 655 Sixth. I really like my unit and the location is great. However, three things that I am very disappointed about are; 1. My unit was not ready when I moved in. The keys were not made for me when I went to pick them up and there were people still inside of my unit cleaning it.2. I pay $100.00 each month for parking (never a late payment). My car was correctly registered in TheLofts online database upon move in. They wrongfully towed my car from the parking garage. When I asked the office why my car was towed, they were unable to tell me why. My receipt from the towing company indicates that the reason for being towed was "parking permit expired" (my permit is current).3. The "gym". The treadmill and the elliptical do not work.
Great location, great service, and it was very close to downtown. Also has a shuttle, and rent a car service. I would highly recommend this location.
PROS:Location - Downtown San Diego; near public transportationUtilities included, tenants only pay rentFully furnishedLaundry facilities on-siteFully furnished kitchenWeekly/Bi-weekly cleaning service for kitchen and bathroomFree internet/wi-fiComputer and printer located on-site for useCable and television includedCONS:Location - although it is located in a convenient area, it is located near San Diego City College and an adult rehabilitation center. Meaning, there are people around almost at all hours.Noise - Little to no insulation inside the building. Meaning, you can hear street noise, conversations and phone rings, chairs moving through the walls and ceilings. It basically feels as though you're living outdoors. In addition, it is located near a busy intersection and you'll hear cars and people constantly. If you're sensitive to excessive noise, this is not the place for you. Even if you're just essentially renting to have a place to sleep and eat, you might not be able to sleep because of the incessant noise. Facilities - Laundry is only coin operated and costs 2.25 for wash and 1.00 for dry.RATING:2/5 Although the amenities are a huge plus, the noise can be unbearable.
