The dispatcher and plumber were very professional and courteous. The tech showed up on time, kept me apprised of any issues as the job progressed and then cleaned up the area when he was finished. I was happy with the work. I purchased a water heater with a 10 years manufacturers warranty. I wasn't able to find another San diego plumber that could give me this kind of warranty. Throughout the whole process the tech from two brothers plumbing san diego was very courteous. He got the job done on time. And was very friendly.
On our first appointment with Two Brothers plumbing San Diego, the plumber NEVER CAME. Although their dispatcher kept reassuring me with phone calls that he was coming, no plumber in San Diego was coming. I called at 4:30pm to reschedule to another day.On our second appointment with Two Brothers Plumbers San Diego, the tech arrived 30 min past due. He did politely tell me that I had purchased a trim kit that needed a different valve set than the one in our vintage walls. He made no suggestions or recommendations how to achieve what I wanted for our tub and shower. He left after 10 min, no charge. I purchased the valve set that worked with the trim set I purchased. I understood that this would mean cutting a hole in the tiled wall. I made another appointment with Two Brothers plumbers San Diego because I had purchased their a deal.On our third appointment with Two Brothers plumber San Diego, two techs arrived. They proceeded with the task of cutting a hole in the tiled wall. We have an old home and suspected galvanized pipe in the wall. They installed the new valve but left us with a poor solution to reroute the plumbing vent as well as valves that did not meet the tiled surface. One of the plumbers made loud gratuitous remarks while he was working. Comments like: "This is NOT how I would do it." He offered to come back Monday and try again to make the valves flush. They took everything when they cleaned up--including taking all our old trim pieces and all the boxes with their model numbers for the new trim. I had to ask three times to get the used but perfectly good lavatory faucet set back.On our last appointment with two brothers plumbers San diego, their plumber was able to make the valves flush with the tile. He did so by narrowing the diameter of the vent (not to code). He did this so he would not have to make a bigger hole in the tile.I am not a plumbing professional. I would have been open to alternatives or suggestions had they been offered. The tile professional had it patched, grouted, and perfectly matched in 4 hours.
I had made an appointment for the installation of a new water heater to coincide with relatives vacationing at the house (so that they could provide access to the water heater). At the end of the day of the appointment, nobody had shown up so I contacted Two Brothers Plumbing and was told that the appointment had been mistakenly made for October 1, not October 3.After discussion, I was assured that a representative would be there the next day (Wednesday). I don't have a clear understanding of the conversation between my relatives and the representative that showed up, but the end result was that the water heater was not installed.Two Brothers Plumbing in San Diego called me at 6:30 pm Wednesday evening (which I thought was great and demonstrated their commitment to getting the job done) and said that they would have two people out in the morning to do the installation. Fortunately my relatives were still there so arranging for access to the water heater wasn't a problem.The job was completed on Thursday morning and the old water heater hauled away.During the 3-days, there were at least two calls per day, one to Two Brothers Plumbing and the other to my vacationing relatives (to update and/or coordinate). I am appreciative that Two Brothers Plumbers Denver was responsive and didn't even try to dodge responsibility. I maintained my composure because mistakes happen, but how they're resolved is what's important. "Joanie" went the distance, never tried to make excuses and worked with me to get the job done. My thanks to "Steve" for the actual installation.Why will I use them again? Because they could have easily tried to blame me for the scheduling snafu, dismissed me and gone on about their work week without installing my water heater. Instead they rearranged their representatives' schedules (and I assume the related customers' schedules as well) to get my job done in the limited time I had available. They kept me updated, and as best I can tell, did a professional job installing the new water heater.
SHOCKED! Im pretty sure we just found the most honest plumbing company in all of San Diego. Early this morning my husband found a leak under our bathroom sin. We found these guys and gave them a call around 10am. They had someone at our home before noon and you would not believe how cheap of fix it was. It took them just 10 minutes to handle the problem and instead of making the situation bigger then it needed to be so they could charge more. They did the job fast and charged just a small fee.
