Love this gym

Working out at Wave House is a blast. From the group workout classes (try their new aqualogix class!!) and the waves, to the location and the staff, the place is clean, and great. It's one of the few gyms with a pool, which I love, and Ive heard they have DJs come to spin while you work out on Tuesdays. (Great idea!)Also...there are restaurants downstairs with a solid acai bowl if you need a pick me up post workout.

Best spot to work out

This oceanfront venue provides the epitome of a workout experience. From the location to the equipment, WaveHouse athletic has everything I need. The plunge pool and the wave are also great perks - as is the cafe for breakfast after an early morning workout!

The Plunge

The Plunge has been here forever and is probably on some historic registry. It's a great big indoor pool, right on the boardwalk in Mission Beach. I prefer to swim in the ocean, but the kids and visitors can't seem to get enough of the Plunge.
