Dental Examination
We offer a comprehensive examination, diagnosis and treatment for our patients with dramatic results, often allowing them to eliminate taking pain medications. We encourage anyone with these persistent symptoms to be evaluated in our office.

Fillings
Veneers
Teeth whitening products use bleaches (either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide) to break stains into smaller pieces, which make them harder to see and make your teeth brighter. These bleaches do not work on all teeth, so it is important to consult your dentist before any treatment. Whitening will not be effective on caps, veneers, crowns, fillings or if the color is caused by medications or injury.
Crowns
Periodontal disease can be caused by old or ill-fitting crowns or bridgework, leaky or broken fillings, various metabolic disorders (i.e.sub-clinical diabetes), and/or a family history of gum problems. The earlier the diagnosis and treatment, the better the results. We offer our patients a complete comprehensive diagnosis including periodontal pocket probing to determine any extent of periodontal disease.

Dr. Richards is a graduate from the University of Iowa Dental School and continued on to the University of Connecticut for his certificate in Periodontology and PH.D. in Oral Biology. Dr. Richards served as a clinical instructor for the School of Dental Hygiene at Southwesten Community College and has held positions on the boards of the San Diego County Dental Society and California Society of Periodontists. Dr. Richards excels at periodontal tissue grafting, tooth extractions, osseous bone grafting, dental implant placement, and is a forerunner of the innovative Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique for gum rejuvenation. Dr. Richards loves to sail and travel the world with his wife, Christine.

Dr. Beyer-Jordan studied at Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen – Nuremberg and Johann Wolfgang Geothe University in Frankfurt where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and Ph.D. in Dentistry. Dr. Beyer-Jordan completed her State Board Exam at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2003. Dr. Beyer-Jordan was an Assistant Professor at the University of Stellenbosch/Cape Town, South Africa and an Assistant Professor at Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany. She has been serving patients in private practice for the past 20 years. Dr. Beyer-Jordan is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, German Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Association and Propel Study Club of San Diego and is an Invisalign Preferred Provider. Dr. Beyer-Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, sailing, hiking and riding horses!
