The staff was very nice and courteous; the location of the Hotel was convenient and the view was great! The little kitchen was an added plus. As a business traveler, I get very little down time at the end of the day. So, the quality of the facilities during my down time is very important to me. “The Dana Hotel” added to a pleasurable, peaceful, and satisfying down time. I can’t wait to return to the Dana hotel.

We have stayed at The Dana on Mission Bay for two different vacations to San Diego, this is the only place we will ever stay in San Diego!! Excellent staff and accommodations. Clean rooms, friendly staff, beautiful location, we can go on and on. We are already planning our next vacation and yes, we will be staying at The Dana on Mission Bay...the only place to stay! Even if there is a problem with the room, the staff immediately tends to it. The staff goes out of their way to make sure all the customers are completely satisified. We can't thank The Dana staff enough for such a wonderful atmosphere for a perfect vacation.
I never got tired of seeing birds out the back door, and the shoreline is right there - waterbirds fly or float by all day. I got into the habit if feeding a trio of gabby ducks out my patio door at least once a day, and went looking for them by night along a beautiful lit pathway. I appreciated that room service never knocked at my door while I was in. It's a quiet resort, with lots to do, especially for the younger set. This was my second stay, it won't be my last!

Beautiful hotel, we had a wonderful stay. However, the whole time we felt like something was missing that we couldn't put a finger on. Our room was tiny. Not unexepected, we didn't stay in the brand new portion. The bathroom was even smaller. The amenities were fabulous, the pools and jaccuzzis received tons of attention. We also ate at the Blue Pearl, part of the hotel. Food was good, service was ok. Service for our room was a bit annoying. Our first night we used the Do not Disturb sign only to have our door knocked on multiple times. The next time we used it, we received a phone call asking about housecleaning. I think we expected a bit better. Still recommend it, great for families and the price was great.
