If you only do one thing for yourself, make it Scripps Chiropractic & Functional Medicine! The term "miracle worker" is an understatement. I take my whole family here, including my mother who has severe scoliosis. After coming here to see Dr. Tay, Dr. Lawson and all the amazing massage therapists, she can walk 4 blocks by herself without a walker or wheelchair!! Just a year ago, she was facing back surgery and barely could walk to the bathroom without help. Moreover, they care about you, know who you are, and what your specific body needs are. Plus they take insurance and can work with you on a payment plan. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself and my family. Now, one by one, my friends are coming too!
The best chiropractic service I've ever had. Everyone is so amazing. I have been coming here for 2 years, since I've been coming, I haven't been sick, and my body feels wonderful! My wife has always been into chiropractic, I haven't.... until I started coming here. I can walk better, sleep on my back without grinding, I can breathe! They have changed my life... amazing!
I have been going to Scripps Chiropractic for 3 plus years. They truly are doing amazing work. I'm in my 40's and still able to compete in Jiu Jitsu, and do pretty intense work outs which I was not able to do before meeting these amazing pe...ople. My aches and pains are taken care of when I get them, and would suggest anyone, whether you are in to sports or not. Try them out, they truly care about your well being. I love it, as I do not like taking pain medications, and with the great staff and Doctors at Scripps Chiropractic I no longer have to. So, if you want to get to a pain free zone. give them a call.
Dear Readers, since January 2012 my right arm started hurting again from an old injury I got from work. Scripps Chiropractic came to a health fair where I work and offered me a free massage. I gladly accepted. Soon after they assessed me and started treatment right away. I can honestly say, I am pain free and very pleased. The clinic has a warm family environment. The doctors and workers are kind and sweet. I would recommend Scripps Chiropractic to everybody.

I came to Scripps Chiropractic Clinic only 2 weeks ago. I suffered from long term debilitating pain. I am grateful to say my pain is non existent at this point. In addition, the entire staff is professional, supportive and exceedingly kind. I am very happy I went here!

I was barely able to waddle in there with a massive lower back pain. Once I got in and got my first treatment I knew i had picked the right place. My pain was feeling a lot better after two sessions and I got a recovery plan as well as x-rays taken to make sure it wasn't something more serious. I feel fortunate for being able to go to a place I feel comfortable. I like the care and the doctors very much and I think it has been a good experience.

What can i say about this place? well nothing good to be honest. I have actually given this place a couple chances but everytime I go I leave dissapointed! If it was'nt for the ONLY good person this place has which is DR. LAWSEN! I think this place would be long gone by now. The owner , so called Dr is so unprofesional she talks about all her problems to the patients we come in to get therapy not to give you therapy, so a word of advice keep your business to yourself not everyone needs to know your problems. Everytime I go in its a different person greeting me? what is that about there is so much turn over its ridicoulous!! That also says alot about the place. The massages are ok but its clear they dont really know what they are doing you ask the ""therapist"" a question about why it feels that way and they have no answers? This place is kind of sketchy they are expensive and they dont care about the patients all they care about is if you have insurance, if you dont they massage you for 10 min and send you on your way. Its not right i would give this place a negative 1 ... sad but true

I first came to Scripps Chiropractic Clinic about 4 years ago. I had pulled my lower back out and could barely walk into the office. They were excellent. I have been to other chiropractic offices and have been treated well but none like this. The difference is the great chiropractor coupled with the deep message therapy treatment.
The combinations of treatments relax my muscles and allowed my bones and joints to move and remain in proper position. My recovery time was greatly reduced as a direct result of their treatments.
It seems that each year I around June I pull my back out while trying to get my backyard cleaned up for the summer. Each I go back to Scripps Chiropractic Clinic and they once again correct what I have messed up. I also trust them with the care of my wife and daughters.
You may find other Chiropractors that are fine at their practice but you will never find a better, more complete treatment then at Scripps Chiropractic Clinic.

I was first introduced to Scripps Chiropractic during an event at my church. Dr.Tay and her staff were friendly, courteous, and professional then and continue that way today. When I arrived, my neck and upper back were very sore and stiff. After only 10 treatments, Dr.Tay and Dr.Lawson, have improved my condition immeasurably! Dr.Tay and Dr. Lawson, along with their excellent staff come highly recommended!
I come here because I am serious about getting better and committed to my treatment. ""Healthy mind, healthy spine!"" I wouldn't come back if I didn't enjoy coming in. Life is too short to hang out with people you don't enjoy and I truly enjoy my time with the doctors and staff here!
I worked for Dr.Tay at Scripps Chiro for a duration of 7 months. Throughout that time of employment, I was the only survivor. We would hold interviews for a week, start training the new hires, and none of them would last more than a week without getting ""let go"" on a trial basis or quitting. The turn over rate is absolutely ridiculous and embarassing. That alone says a lot about how low of a tolerance people have had working for such an unprofessional as Dr.Tay. To sum up my experience working for her, wouldn't suffice. She DOESN'T PAY OVERTIME. Since I was the only person who stayed, I did everything. I played front desk, held consultations with the patients, played bill collector, did marketing and events, and actually started a handful of new patients on their treatment plans. For doing about 5 different jobs for 1 person, should come with a pay increase wouldn't you think? NO. I had multiple talks with her about receiving a raise, I sent her formal letters stating that I wished to become apart of the success of the company, and that I hoped to be apart of this clinic for the future, and that I really enjoyed my position which enabled me to help people. The truth is, Dr.Tay does not care about helping people. The reviews written before me are all true in that she just cares about the MONEY. She is completely unprofessional & talks about her personal problems to all the patients & she even talks about patients to other patients, in violation to HIPPA & PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY. On top of all the under the table schemes that go on there, the employees giving massages ARE NOT CERTIFIED OR LICENSED. I really cared about the patients & I loved my position as a patient educator and being able to teach people how Chiropractic can help them get better.... But her constant ""promotions"" are a scam. She only wants to help the ""Q"" or QUALIFIED potential new patients. And if a new person comes into the office and wants to redeem their, ""FREE MASSAGE OR ADJUSTMENT"" and are clearly ""NQ"" or NOT QUALIFIED, meaning they obviously cannot afford it and make payments on their $3-4,000 treatment plan, then I would be forced to get rid of them somehow or LIE and tell them they are welcome to lay on a water massage table for 15 min! How terrible! & Dr.Tay always left me to do the dirty work to get them out, & that was the part of my job that I hated and despised, and could no longer be apart of. Dr.Tay reads these reviews all the time and is always on the lookout for another bad review. & the sad part is, she made me write good reviews on here, writing as if I were one of our patients! I hope Dr.Tay learns a lesson and gets a wake up call one day, to appreciate the employees who work hard for her. And if I could send a message to her batch of new employees, I would keep looking for another job elsewhere. She is never going to be happy with your hard work, even though you're actually doing a good job. And unless you want to be paid only $10 or $12 an hour for doing more than you should, then you will find yourself as I was towards the end of my trial.... stressed, unhappy, and underpaid. I would never recommend receiving care here and getting suckered into paying thousands of your hard earned money to a health care provider who doesn't really care. Just read the reviews and see for yourself.

went in for an interview a while ago, and i felt that i was more than qualified for the position. two days later, i called and left a message, thanking the doctor for the chance to interview with her and how i hope to hear from her when her decision was made, thank you again for the opportunity! and i never heard ANYTHING back from them. how rude. i've never interviewed with someone who just left you hanging. no wonder i heard that they have high turn over rates. don't waste your time interviewing there.
nevertheless, i put my opinions aside and went in for an adjustment. the talk going around was less than... shall i say... appropriate, or professional. the vibe wasn't very zen-ish, i felt uptight and awkward being in a room with multiple other people. the receptionist was rude and didn't even greet me when i walked in, and barely said a word to me until it came time for me to pull out the moolah.
i never went back again. overall, from the experiences i've had, not good.
I have been coming to Scripps Chiropractic for a year, since coming, my posture has improved and my discomfort level has decreased tremendously. I recently fell on my wrist and was wearing a wrist guard give to me by an urgent care doctor. After one visit to Scripps Chiro, I ditched the wrist guard.
THANKS Scripps Chiro!!

ok, first off, I was able to go in with my girlfriend, eat some buffet thing they had set up, then took x-rays and we both got massages, for FREE. I don't know which therapists or receptionists the other people are talking about, everyone was nice and friendly and got me in and out almost too fast(only because i wanted to stay longer for food haha). we actually signed up for a very affordable plan, and got some holiday deal where all of our payments will be cut in half for the new year. not sure if that was just lucky timing on us coming in for that deal, but regardless, very glad i came in!

This place has really bad service! the receptionist they have is trashy and this place is really unprofessional. The Dr her self talks about things she really should not be talking about in an open therapy. It really makes people feel uncomftarable some of the conversations being said I tried it and it was not the place for me. They also try and con you by saying you have a free massage but then tell you all the million things you have wrong with you after going over your x rays with you. LAME

I was a patient here for quite sometime until i realized what bad service i was getting. they make you wait forever the faces always change so you never know who you are gonna get when you get there. The Dr herself is selfish and she talks about the patients in the open therapy to other patients really un proffesional. As for the other comments on this page you can tell she her self does them because i really dont see someone saying that they enjoy coming to this place as much as they claim to. I just had a really bad experience and not to mention they are ridicoulus in price! i would not recomend this really fake dr!
When I came in, walking was even painful and now I can dance! I started coming 5 weeks ago, and I feel 1000% better. I started doing the things that I love now that I couldn't do for the longest time. This was all thanks to the ladies at Scripps Chiropractic Clinic. ¡Me siento gran!
I have enjoyed working at SCC for over 2 years and I have had many opportunities for professional and personal development. I truly felt supported and appreciated during the time I was there. The patients were amazing and I loved the atmosphere at the office. Like all businesses, we hit a rough patch, but the quality level of service and our love for one another and patients never changed. Even though I've changed careers, I still feel part of the team and visit for my treatments! :D
