Words can not express how much my family and I love this school. We were referred by many and it was more than we could have hoped for. As far as staff we think they are great. Mrs hurd the director is so warm, kind and nuturing to each child. We had Mrs elliott and my son loved it! Mrs Elliott is very experienced a fair, kind and fun loving teacher. We recently moved and entered Poway District, thinking this would be an easy move. It has not been , we are hoping Noah's Ark has room now, so our son can spend the next years before Kindergarten in this happy warm enviornment.( As far as the 1 negative Yelp review, I have a hard time even believing it.This comment sounds nothing like Noah' Ark.)
I can't emphasize enough how much our family has enjoyed having our daughter enrolled at Noah's Ark for the past 2 years! The staff is AMAZING! We have never had a single complaint. We will 100% be sending our youngest daughter to this school as soon as she is old enough. Kathy Hurd is an amazing director who actually cares and interacts with the children. Not only does my daughter love her teachers she LOVES ALL of the staff at Noah's Ark!

This school seems very nice, it has a nice playground with shades, and some of the teachers are very nice. We however had a couple of terrible experiences with the director and one of the teachers. My daughter is a very sweet loving girl, never had any issues with anyone or with following directions and listening before, but as soon as she had a minor problem - not lining up when asked by the teacher - the true face of those persons showed. They sent her on a time out and to the directors office for an additional ""lecture"", and did not call me. I talked with them about more positive and caring approaches and reactions to issues like that but they turned against me and told me this is not the right school for me. I should have taken my daughter out of school then, but I never would have thought that sg like this - or worse- would happen again - but it did. A month later they sent my daughter to the directors office and made her sit in a chair for 75 minutes (??!!) because she did not want to put her shoes on after playtime! AND they did not call me about this to pick her up either. My daughter was truly shaken up about this and so was I. Who ever heard of putting a 4 yr old into a chair for over 75 minutes?! Even adults cant sit in vain for that long. Especially that they know I am a stay at home mom , ( who helped and volunteered any chance I got) and I just paid an extra $4 so that she can stay and have fun an extra hour and have lunch with her friends. Instead of calling me, the mom, which they are REQUIRED to do, they made her sit and miss Chapel, and playtime on the playground AND lunch! I have seen a different side to these 2 ladies that seem to smile and be so nice otherwise.... I hope nobody else will see and experience this kind of cruelness.

The experience we had in the three years our son attended Noah's Ark was the best! As our first child, we read everything we could get our hands on to evaluate a preschool and this preschool offered everything we were looking for. The director has been there for nearly 30 years (that alone speaks volumes!) and the teachers all have more than just the basic ECE units required to teach and most are accredited teachers who could choose to teach anywhere and have chosen this wonderful school. Many have been there for more than 10 years! This is not a day care center. Your child actually learns and is enriched by their daily experiences. You can choose a 2 day up to a 5 day program and they offer ""lunch bunch"" so your child can learn proper manners with their peers. Our son is now in kindergarten and LOVES learning! We are certain his social skills were cultivated at Noah's Ark and we have been told by many parents that he is a pleasure to be around. What a wonderful experience.
