I saw their ad and decided to have dinner with my family their, and although my wife was pleasantly surprised on how large the entres were, I was displeasaed with the quality of the food. Honestly, if you put a plate of this and panda express on the same table, I would not be able to tell the difference. Overall it was OK.
I ordered through a 3rd party website and after submitting my order it forwards it to this restaurant. I called after a couple minutes and said that they are already cooking it. I've actually never been inside the actual resto but the delivery time was quick and food was good. I ordered beef and broccoli, cream cheese wontons and chowmein noodles. Everything arrived fresh and not cold! :)

Everything was too salty.
The Mu Shu chicken was passable.
My wife's mixed vegetables had a terrible brown sauce that tasted like extra salty soy sauce thickened with corn starch. The veggies were limp and overcooked.
My son's almond chick tasted like it had the same sauce. The rice was dry.
My Wor WonTon soup was too salty. The few veggies were limp and overcooked. The wontons were passable. The pork pieces were almost flavor free, and a few were gristly to the point where they were unchewable.
As a serious amateur cook and lover of Asian food, I can't believe that professional cooks would prepare food like that for the public, with such obvious lack of care.
The tea was good, as was the service. The atmosphere was nice, quiet and not overly ornamented. It seemed like a nice family was running this place so it pains me to have to write a review this negative.
It Couldn't have been a more impressive meal! Here, the wait staff is extremely well seasoned. You will always find a smile on their face. As for the food, If you like large portions and the creme de la creme of locale Chinese food, then I highly suggest you visit for an evening!!

I began to frequent this restaurant when some friends turned me on to the ""Tan Tan"" noodle soup. It's a spicy peanut & noodle soup. It's the only thing I've tried on the menu, but it's great. It goes well with some of the fruity drinks and desserts on the menu. The people who work there are really nice too. It's one of a group of Asian restaurants in the Mira Mesa and Convoy areas that I began preferring to go to on Saturday nights. They aren't as packed as the chains and places in hipper parts of town, and you usually get much better service. The only places I know of where you can get service that good on a Saturday night cost more than twice as much.
