Best Pasta and Stromboli in San Diego if you are not too snobby

I dont like pasta, but i happily swapped half of my Stromboli for half of Polo Broccoli Wide Flat Long Pasta. And believe me that Stromboli was the best Stromboli I have ever eaten. Decent wine for $3.75 in a plastic cup, i told if you are not too snobby you will come again to Landini's to have a very tasty italian meal, I did come again, spending 5 days in San Diego

This pizza here is absolutely amazing. Hands down one of the best in the city. Try the sausage version. It's amazing

2nd time here. It's so good, that we are making it a must stop every time we stay on downtown SD. Favorite slice is Spice Me Up.

I went there on vacation looked ok so I tried it, guy taking our order was nice so all seemed good we sat down and waited hear noises like they where playing in the back, the cooking area pots and pans banging some guy passed by saying sorry I fell and my back hurts, he just kept on screaming in the back and more banging then again comes out and he's again sorry. After 25 min of waiting and the same thing over and over I go up and ask about my food they forgot it was in the oven and it was burned they didn't tell me anything and expected me to wait for them to make another one I told them to return my money and they did only for the food the drinks that I barely drank out of I was charged for. My family and I were really hungry and were really disappointed, that guy with the curly hair is in desperate need of attention if u decide to eat here at least make sure he isn't there and if u order a calzone they say 15 min check the time so your food don't get burned. 11/04/12

Last night, during the blackout on 9/9/11, my friends and I went to Landini's to get pizza. They were one of the few places serving food. We had no problem waiting in line for two hours. What we did have a problem with is them charging us $32 for a pizza!!! They charged $4 per slice for a whole pizza vs. their regular price of $21.50.



The owner sat there the whole time with a stupid smirk on is face knowing he is pretty much taking advantage of the situation and ripping people off.



He is clearly not very bright because the vast majority of us live in the 'hood and will remember how Landini's pretty much screwed us.



Oh, and according to the district attorney's office: it is illegal to gouge during an emergency.
