Hi my name is Jonathan LaDue, I am a 21 year old recovering alcoholic and drug addict. Through my personal life experience as an adolescent attempting to get sober and as an adult staying sober, I am here to help the parents of children who have addiction problems and need guidance with what to do with their child, identifying problematic behaviors, helping you to understand what your child needs from you as a parent and how you as a parent can be of maximum benefit to your child who is struggling to get or stay sober. My personal experience includes losing my brother to heroin when he was 20 years old and I myself using drugs and drinking alcohol in order to cope with this loss, and to feed my uncontrollable addiction, I am an active member of AA, I have attended 15 different types of treatment for addiction including Sober Living, Recovery Homes, In-Patient Rehabilitation, Wilderness Programs, and Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers. I was in the same shoes as your child and i know everything there is to know about being young and in recovery and i know what has been the most effective in my life and in the lives of the many others i have helped.
