Jason Woo, MD, is a urologist who provides medical and surgical treatment for a wide range of urologic problems in men and women. His clinical interests include general urology, prostate disease, urologic cancers and stones in the urinary tract. Dr. Woo believes in a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to urologic care. When possible, he utilizes the newest robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques to help patients return to their normal activities more quickly.As an assistant professor in the Department of Urology at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Woo instructs medical students and residents. He has published numerous research articles and presents his research nationally on the topics of kidney and prostate cancers. Dr. Woo completed his urology residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Urological Association.
