this restaurant started going down hill a few months ago, an has only gotten worse. As a family of 8 who enjoys a good buffet, we used to come here often but have stopped our frequent visits ever since it got so bad. There is no good variety of food, most of which is cold and flavorless. Though the salad bar is huge, it contains browned and wilted vegetables that no one would want to eat. The service is probably the only good thing about this place but the food is definitely not worth the price I paid.

Home Town Buffet in Camino Ruiz needs to improve their food. 3-5-12, Me and my friend ate there. Their Steak,roast beef is hard, soups is salty. Some of their food like baked fish, bbq is so dry. When you get hot water for your tea, the hot water faucets dirty, dusty on the top. Their carrots, corn, and beans nasty. Taste like it was taken from the can food. They need to improve the way their food is prepared. Before they have a hosts, asking if we need anything, if the food ok, their service is so poor. I even heard lots of people complained. The other customer closed to us get a free dinner because they were not happy for the food and service. If I would be ask where to eat, I will recommend soup plantation, people very friendly, food fresh and not salty, clean and service excellent. Manager don't just stand up behind the cashier, He goes around and ask if food is ok and if everything ok. So sorry I can't give you a STAR this time.One star just means needs improvement. I thought you guys change the quality of your food. Still not good enough worth of the money I payed for.

im not a diet of a person type in fact im more like to want to get fat , however since im kinda gettting large that i need tto cut back sometimes.



Hometown buffet is delicious and some of them are cut back from calories i love the food here .



People should give it a try and the people are very chill :D
