Don't use this company dishonest and irresponsible.

Do not use this company. They are extremely unprofessional. If you complain they will threaten and yell at you. They claim to be affordable and then they will charge you twice as much. This company is a nightmare! They do follow proper moving procedures and will leave the house you are moving to and from in absolute chaos. If you complain they will hold your materials for more money on truck and threaten to dump it in your driveway. Owners and management are worse to deal with then actual movers. This is the worst moving company in San Diego!

If I could give a negative score I would. This has to be one of the worse customer experiences I have ever had. I had used them to help move my dad who is both elderly and disabled. When I had set up the appointment, I had informed the rep that I needed to coordinate a little bit to get my dad to the new place and asked for a phone call in advanced. I confirmed this arrangement and had even called back a couple days before to confirm the appointment and that they would call me prior to them showing up at my dads old place. S

On the day of the move in, I received no calls from the company. I did however, receive a call from my dad confused and in a bit of a panic. Whats worse they had been there for almost 30 minutes and loaded or packed 1 item. I spoke with the mover and was told that he would not start the clock and would begin. I then called my girlfriend who went to pick him up bring him to his new place.

When I came home, I found the mover Angel, with his shirt rolled up passed his Buddha like belly pacing around the small pathways of the garage like a rhino about to go on a rampage. My girlfriend had told me when I got home that he had given her the total and in a short time changed it 3 times. When she asked for clarification, he went off and through a tantrum. He was both rude and unprofessional. In the end he was trying to add more time to the bill and thus attempting to screw over an elderly disabled man.

Due to his behavior, I had called his boss to complain and to dispute the charges. While the bill was being disputed he started yelling "Are you refusing to pay!" I had told him I am not refusing to pay but wanted to clear up the charges before I did so. He continued on this tirade for a few minutes before he (Angel) shoved my girlfriend,who was standing by the door (one of the only free spaces of boxes in the garage), into the work bench and boxes, barged into the house and took my Dad's TV and locked in his truck. All the while I was on the phone with his boss. At that point I became irate. His boss was just as much of a prick as he was and simply did not care, nor attempted to diffuse the situation. He practically condoned Angels behavior. Joe, who had come with Angel simply watched and when he spoke to his boss, he basically said he did not see anything.

After the disputes of the amount was handled, he refused to take the TV out of his truck telling me to get it. Joe, however, did. Probably realizing the insurance liability it would be if I did. He refused to provide me with an invoice and took off.

So we had ordered movers and instead of professional service we got a prick who physically assaulted and verbally threatened his customers and a boss who condones such actions. I have called since then trying to obtain the invoice and they have yet to return my messages. My advice, stay away from this company. You are better off with their competitors.

Ra! for Coastal. Had to be out on New Years eve. I called all around but they were the only ones who could take my stuff to a container in Long Beach.

Beyond reproach in all aspects. Finely orchestrated and meagerly priced. Saved time, money and headaches. Absolutely lovely.

My move from 92128 to 92126 went like clockwork. Very good operation led by driver Angel.

Perfect service. Low prices. Have used movers many times. These guys are the pros. 6 stars

Only had few things for the guys to move, but they got it done fast. Had a large desk that Angel (drive) and his helper Augustus moved through the door and down the step without a hitch. This is what a moving company should be like. Guys that work hard. Rates that make moving yourself seem like an incredibly stupid option.

In the rain Coastal Moving shined. I moved from Archstone in Mission Valley, where moving can certainly be a pain because I lived on the 3rd floor. I watched the entire move and at no point was I unhappy with the movers' speed or with the way they treated my stuff. Exceptionally good movers, and company.

This is something I would never say, so I thought: my move went perfect. Coastal Moving is professional is by far the best company I've used in my life. I had a shipment going from Ramona to Del Mar. These guys showed up in Ramona at 8 am when they said they would and got done by 1. Lots of love for the boys at Coastal.

Everything went very good with this company. Brad explained the entire process in detail, and the driver was more than happy (and capable) to answer my questions the morning of the move. I ultimately let the driver make the decision as to how to load the shipment (as it was going to 3 different places) and I do believe he did so in the most efficient manner.

5 stars to this company for being informative, having reasonable prices and having a good guys to carry my items.

My oh my what a horrible day I had in my mind 7 am on moving day. I have moved before so many times, all kinds of negative thoughts raced through my head. I was comforted by the arrival of two angels (well, one, actually) from Coastal Moving. The driver, Angel, was friendly had right off the bat you could see highly experienced, and his support, Joseph, was as kind as they come, and a great worker to boot.

The move went off without a hitch, my worries assuaged. Now on with the unpacking....ugh

My friend Jen recommended this great company. Angel and Kenny came out to move me. They did so in such little time I still can't believe it. Now, I knew it would take 3 hours, but they got it done in two. Both we very polite and professional. Thanks Jen for the review and thanks Coastal for not making my move a nightmare

This company is utterly wonderful. Brad did an estimate for me and gave me a great price to move to Newport. The guys he sent out were great, funny and pleasure to be around. 6 stars no doubt about it.

I just wrote a long review about the quality of these movers. I hit the publish button and it errors. Lose everything I wrote. The movers were incredible. but im not going to describe my experience again. Thanks CS

Quite wonderful to be take part in a removal in which nothing was damage nor was there anything remotely describable as a hitch in the operation. Efficient is movers MO, for which I tipped them handsomely.

I didn't want to use movers; I wasnted my boyfriend to do it. It's a good thing he didn't though, because to my complete surprise I actually used a service and was left satisfied in the end. Cost was low and the labor was excellent. I tipped Joe, the crew member, 40 bucks cuz he was all around awesome. Juan, his helper, was also great, if just a little less experienced. I was quote 4 hrs, only took 3. Yay me!

My experience with Coastal Moving was nothing but great from the service itself to the professional and nice guys, Andre and Kenny. They were quick, careful and so friendly. I highly recommend Coastal Moving.

I had them unload an abf truck for me. I had two flights of stairs and to my shock I didn't once see them break or waste time. Excellent company to deal with. Very professional.,
