Dr. Clark Clipson is a licensed psychologist with over thirty years experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents and adults. His private practice is devoted exclusively to conducting forensic, neuropsychological, psychological, and learning disability evaluations as well as risk assessments. He worked as a psychotherapist from 1981 until 2001.Dr. Clipson has conducted over 4300 evaluations, including over 2500 assessments involving criminal or civil matters. He has testified over 170 times, having qualified as an expert witness in more than half the counties in California as well as in military, family, juvenile, and Federal Courts. For 15 years, he was an adjunct faculty member at the California School for Professional Psychology, teaching courses in psychological and forensic assessment and professional ethics. He has served as a consultant for numerous organizations, including the California Department of Mental Health, the California Forensic Assessment Project, San Diego Juvenile Court, and various community mental health organizations. He is a Past-President of the San Diego Psychological Association and was elected to Fellow status of this organization in 1998.
