Business Description
Established in 1981, Children's Creative and Performing Arts Academy offers various educational programs to more than 350 students. The academy is divided into four divisions, the children's house for students of ages 2- to 5-years, and the primary division for students of ages 4- to 9-years. Its elementary division enrolls students of 8- to 12-years, and the Capa division is for students of ages 11- to 18-years. Students in the Capa division follow a college preparatory curriculum that include subjects, such as English, mathematics, social sciences, science, foreign language, physical education, health, creative and performing arts, literature, word study, computer studies, and various electives. The curriculum of the academy meets the requirements set by the state of California, with written evaluations based upon mastery given every six weeks. The academy additionally offers various extracurricular activities and sports programs. Children's Creative and Performing Arts Academy is located in San Diego.
