I am a current resident at the Lofts at 655 Sixth. I really like my unit and the location is great. However, three things that I am very disappointed about are; 1. My unit was not ready when I moved in. The keys were not made for me when I went to pick them up and there were people still inside of my unit cleaning it.2. I pay $100.00 each month for parking (never a late payment). My car was correctly registered in TheLofts online database upon move in. They wrongfully towed my car from the parking garage. When I asked the office why my car was towed, they were unable to tell me why. My receipt from the towing company indicates that the reason for being towed was "parking permit expired" (my permit is current).3. The "gym". The treadmill and the elliptical do not work.
Staff recently entered a friends room while he was not home with no notification, no 24 hour notice, no emergency - nothing. This is simply unacceptable for any reason and makes me worry that this could happen to anyone. Be aware that staff here may not respect your personal privacy.In addition, the giftcard situation that everyone was promised is still a mess. Went to pick mine up and they tried to give me a $200 giftcard while a friend who signed the exact same lease (same apartment, same meal option, same parking option, leases signed within 2 minutes of each other) as me received a $350 card. I talked to the manager, but that was no help and she didn't know why we would not receive the same amount and refused to make it right or even explain why they were different. Not happy with the situation at all and everything seems like an unorganized mess right now.
