March 2, 2012. Kevin Tran was my salesman for my new 2012 Chrysler 300 purchased a week ago. He is very knowledgeable about the various new models offered by Chrysler Motors. Kevin is also a great resource regarding the various models and their unique specifications. Ultimately, I chose the base 300 car with leather and the better transmission. What I liked and admired about Kevin the most, is that he is helpful and has a very easy going nature. He is not pushy, just very caring! Hermond Morad is the sales manager that I worked with in purchasing my new car. Unlike most sales managers, Hermond is jovial, helpful, talented and a terrific communicator – genuinely a joy to get to know. Importantly, I liked the fact that he was willing to be very competitive to earn my business. I had done my research ahead of time and knew exactly what other dealers throughout California and even Washington were offering on the Dodge Charger and the Chrysler 300. Hermond earned my business and I am extremely happy with the price. Adolpho Villanueva was my finance guy that I worked with and he too was a joy to work with. He smiled the whole time even though it was midnight on a Friday. I had taken my time to evaluate all of my options on a Dodge Charger versus a Chrysler 300 for my specific car and negotiate the price. Adolpho got me excellent financing with Chase Bank and was very friendly as well. My Chrysler 300 has the 8-speed transmission with the 3.6 liter 6-cylinder Pentastar engine that gets amazing gas mileage on REGULAR fuel. It has an incredibly smart interior, superior electronics, excellent safety features, has very well-built construction and is luxurious. All of this while having a very reasonable price. It cost about half of what the 2012 Audi A6 was going to cost me. The A6 was my original choice for a new sedan. When it came done to signing the sales contract, I just could not justify the expense of the Audi A6 which operates on PREMIUM fuel and honestly does not look that much better. I had never owned a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep product before. However, Avis had rented me a 2011 Dodge Charger on a recent 2,100 mile business trip. I was so impressed with that car, that I knew I had to look at Chrysler products when I bought a new sedan. My 2012 Chrysler 300 lacks nothing in comparison to ultra-luxury brands that I have owned. I am a “Car Guy,” “Car Nut”, car enthusiast and don’t want to brag, but I have extensive experience with many luxury and ultra-luxury automobile brands. Over 3 decades, I have been fortunate enough to afford to purchase an Audi A8L, a Bentley Turbo R, 4 Lincoln Continentals, 3 Jaguar XJ sedans, 3 Roll-Royce motorcars and 2 Volvo sedans. I only mention this because my expectations of a new car dealership are extremely high. Rancho Chrysler Dodge Jeep does not disappoint! Although the facilities are not as nice as those ultra-luxury brands and honestly need to be updated, it is the people in the dealership that really matter to me. Kevin Tran, Hermond Morad and Adolpho Villanueva have made a very favorable impression on me. I would not hesitate to recommend Rancho Chrysler Dodge Jeep to any of my friends. Make sure to ask for Kevin Tran as your salesman at cell phone 619-793-9578. *This is an unpaid endorsement based only upon my own observations! Well, I did receive an unsolicited full tank of gasoline and Kevin gave me a free ride to pick up my old Volvo left at the dealership. I rarely write glowing reviews as I am generally regarded as a negative minded and hard to please attorney.
Good Customer service, Art was very helpful.... Give them a try....

My experience at Pacific Honda, certified cars lot, today was most pleasant, from my first phone call, verifying if the car (Honda Fit) I wanted to look at was still on the lot, to the final handshakes with the salesman (Brett Rickie) and the finance manager (Jaime Jimenez). The person who took my phone call knew that the car was on the lot and suggested I speak to Lenny, the manager. He also took my name. Lenny recognized my name when I showed up. That was nice. Lenny entrusted me to Brett who came with me for a test drive and described the car's features at length. There was a second Honda Fit on the lot, which I did not know of. Seeing that I was interested in that second car, Brett offered to take it for a test drive also, the same route we took for the first one. I thought he might want to go a shorter distance since this was my second test drive. After all, how many cars can one test, and how much time should a salesman give to one customer? I am aware that time matters. I myself hate to have someone get me to waste my time. Once in the office, it was most pleasant to do business with Brett. Of course, I know that his goal is to get as much as possible, while mine is to spend as little as possible. I have been quite uncomfortable before under similar circumstances. Even coming out the winner can be unpleasant when the atmosphere is tense, more so when I am not really sure that I really did win anything. At least that's how I live such moments. I do know people who just revel in this tug of war type of situation. I certainly don't, and that's why it was so pleasant to drive off the lot with the car. Brett listened well to my view of the deal. I never felt like he was out to get me. Since I did not have an active insurance policy, having placed mine on hold two months earlier after giving up my car and deciding to wait a while before I bought another one, he offered me, for free, a three day insurance coverage so that I could drive home with the car today. Now I simply have to call my insurance on Monday. Great service! Great attention to the client! He obtained a new set of car mats for me, filled the tank with gas, had the car cleaned outside and inside, walked me to the finance manager who provided the same quality of professional and personal service. Yes, I know, this is what we have come to expect from any public service, but sometimes I can feel that the person is just going through the moves, does not care really. That was not the case at Pacific Honda today. Jaime in finance treated me equally well. His explanations for each form signed were very clear. He advised me on a good deal for the security system. There too, I never felt one second that I was being taken advantage of. The mix of good professionalism and personal attention was perfect. It will be pleasant to go back if ever I need to. It's the small things, the personal attention, that make Life a fun and big experience. That was my kind of experience today. Thanks Pacific Honda.
My search for a new factory ordered pickup truck started nearly three years ago. During my search I spoke to numerous sales people from the three main manufacturers, Ford, Chevy and Dodge. I would say that about 20% of the sales people knew there product from a technical perspective. The remaining 80% either BS’d me on my questions or simply never got back to me. Eventually I settled on a Ford F350 diesel and my search to refine the factory build spec and the dealership that I would buy the truck began. I spoke to Ford dealers from Michigan, to Texas, to Arizona and Northern California. Some were technically good and offered me a reasonably price. However the best salesperson and the best dealership that I found was Barry Greenblatt at Kearney Pearson Ford This was amazing considering that I live in San Diego and was very willing to get on a plane to pickup my new truck. Barry was technically very good. I was asking him some very difficult technical questions. If he didn’t know then he did not BS me, he would research and would promptly get back to me with the answer. My Questions continued for a LONG time, he never relented on giving me premium service. He was never pushy, and always extremely professional and friendly. The pricing that he gave me was competitive with anywhere that I found in the United States. All of the staff that I ever dealt with during my purchase at Kearney Pearson were also extremely helpful and professional. On the day that we collected the truck we had to meet with the finance people. Having bought a new car before I was dreading this. Other dealerships will tell you things like “Unless you have this teflon treatment then your car is going to look terrible in a year” etc etc and give you the hard sell on extended warranty’s. Kearney Pearson was nothing like that!.. It was a very pleasant experience!.. in the end I had to ask him about an extended warranty which I did in fact buy because he tailor made it for me. As far as after sales is concerned they continue to be amazing… extremely helpful. Even Barry who has his sale done, continues to make himself readily available to answer any questions that I may have, and help with anything! All in all I highly recommend Kearney Pearson Ford!
"The" Best New Car Sales Experience When selecting my new car, I wanted a vehicle that is safe, reliable, stylish, and high-quality. And I wanted a brand that I can be loyal to in the future. I found all those qualities with the acquisition of my 2013 Volkswagen CC Sport at Kearny Mesa Volkswagen. I made my first new car purchase in the 1970s, and have bought or leased many cars since then. In making those new car decisions over the years, I worked with many dealerships. I am pleased to say that Kearny Mesa VW is the best experience I have ever had with a car dealer. The credit for my positive review goes to Tony Cavaliere, the representative who helped me select just the right vehicle. Tony listened to every word I said, and when I described what I wanted, he confirmed every detail, and identified a vehicle that I am now thrilled to call my own. Tony Cavaliere and Kearny Mesa VW have set the bar high for customer sales, service, and appreciation. Tony personalized the selection process as though he was buying a car for himself or a family member. What impressed me was his integrity and candor about everything having to do with the vehicles I considered, including cost/financing, performance, options, and other factors, without trying to embellish anything. Tony is a real professional who took time to understand my wishes, and help me through the decision process at my own pace. There was never any pressure from Tony at any time during the sales experience – a refreshing change from my past car-buying experiences. If you decide you want a VW product, I strongly recommend Kearny Mesa Volkswagen for a pleasant, honest, and fair experience.
Thank goodness for our insurance company who had a low price on the vehicle we were looking for. The sticker on the lot had a price more than $4,000 what our insurance company's internet quote was. The final price was still too high, so to "sweeten" the deal, our salesman tried to throw in two detailings for the vehicle. When I said one and an oil change with a full check up he agreed, then when I asked for the paperwork, he said they were giving me my free detailing right now. REALLY?? I expect before I pay for the car that DOES NOT cover a car that had been detailed three days prior when it was traded in. Also, I think they really didn't want to honor the internet price, because we had to wait FOREVER! When I mean wait, we had a deal locked in at 5:30pm, and couldn't drive away with it until 8:30pm - a full 2 1/2 hours after they closed on a Sunday night. It wasn't our financing, we were paying cash. I understand an hour or two to process the paperwork with a trade-in I had the title for in-hand, but to just wait and wait, and after two hours - they started out paperwork for the state. I thought stuff was really just slow, but the more I read about their customer service, the more I think Jimmie Johnson needs to take a bit more interest in how his dealership is run. I know he wins a lot of NASCAR races, but with such a public face, you would hope his PR people would make sure other people walking around with his name on their shirts wouldn't be so shady in their dealings. I did wait it out and got the car at nearly the price I was looking for, but it sure was painful.
If you're at Pacific Honda looking for a new car, ask for MARK MARROW!!! He is definitely knowledgeable about the vehicles, down to earth, and best of all - he's NOT a corny, pushy, talking out of his @** salesman. Not once did I feel pressured to look at anything, listen to anything I didn't want to hear or make a purchase. I was actually a little surprised at how not pushy he was...LOL (perhaps it is a new sales tactic after all?? - what ever it is, it worked for me... :) I did end up purchasing a 2012 Honda Pilot Touring and could not have been more happy with Mark's service, attentiveness, thoroughness and patience with my nit-picky consumer ways. Additionally, the finance staff that I had to work with were (surprisingly) just as great to work with - I told them what I wanted and they were able to meet and in some areas exceed my expectations, making the overall buying experience rather pleasant and hassle-free. The "rain on my parade": 1)After looking at the Pilot - I went to another dealership to check out a different car. When I realized that the other vehicle didn't even compare, I went back to Pacific Honda. I was approached by another salesperson and when I told them that I had already spoke with Mark and was back to see him, that person just walked away without really saying something like "oh sure, he's inside or with another customer" or "let me get Mark for you"...it was kind of awkward. 2) The process is sooo long, but making a significant purchase shouldn't be rushed I suppose.
I've leased three cars through Pacific Honda and the experience has always been excellent. My Father has had two cars from them, and my Aunt is a long-time customer. This time around, Mark Morrow contacted me regarding the lease-end evaluation for my 2009 Civic, and I called him back to schedule the appointment. At that point, Mark informed me that there were excellent financing options available on the new 2012 Civic. Mark set up an awesome deal over the phone on a 2012 Civic Coupe with the EX package, Leather and Navigation system and he picked it up from a nearby dealer and had it waiting for me when I came in three days later. The trade-in process for my previous lease went smoothly and the paperwork for the new car was fast and easy. I got there at about 9:45 and was out the door in less than two hours. Great service, as usual, and Mark was happy to explain all the new features on the Nav system (this is my first car with Nav), and helped me connect my phone. I would also like to give a nod to Pacific Honda's financing department. They give good advice and are always willing to answer questions. All around, this place has great staff and excellent customer service. Definitely ask for Mark Morrow when you're shopping for your car. He'll take care of you.
I am one of the most skeptical, untrusting, "how are they going to screw me" people around, so needless to say, when we drove down from the Riverside area to look at a used car that I had been trying to find, I was, as usual, ready for the normal used car experience. I still have a hard time believing that the car is sitting in my garage, and that it was more stressful buying my big screen TV at Best Buy than it was to purchase this car!!! I was working with Tommy who handles the internet sales, (I think) and he was super nice, yet professional, NOT overbearing or pushy at all and totally the opposite of what the stereotype car sales person is portrayed as. We talked price for, uhm, maybe 15 minutes after a good test drive and closed the deal with a handshake. We then went in to talk to the finance manager Mike and it was so relaxed and casual and, once again, unpressured that I kept waiting for something to go wrong. NOTHING HAPPENED!! Walked out with the keys, 2 year extended warranty and $1000 under Kelly Blue Book price for retail sale of that car. If your buying a car, this place Rocks!! Don't know about the rest of the crew, but Tommy and Mike definitely will earn your respect and loyalty. Thanks guys. Hope you get to read this.
We are very satisfied with Midway Jeep Chrysler of San Diego during the recent purchased of my new Jeep (7/2012). The staff was courteous; knowledgeable of their product and spent time in several test- drives. And when it came to the sale: they were upfront and expedited a cosmetic correction on the purchased vehicle. What set Midway apart from other dealerships I have experienced were their follow-up telephone calls and e-mails to ensure my satisfaction with their product they sold me. The Salesmen there greeted my wife and I verbally and with a smile. They made us feel welcomed. Never got the feeling I was in a ‘shark tank’, but always felt comfortable. About the Jeep Rubicon Unlimited: I was very surprise how well and smooth this SUV is to drive. In addition, it has so many amenities inside like most luxury vehicles. As I have learned, searching on the Internet helps a consumer become well informed, but for me seeing and experiencing the Jeep in person convinced me this was the right vehicle for my family. Midway Jeep Chrysler of San Diego has a great reputation for a reason. I would recommend other to shop at Midway Jeep. Note: I drove approximately 30 miles to this dealership because of previous reviews I have read and glad I did!
Just had to take a moment to write a review to express what a great experience I had, working (yet again) with Pacific Honda and their great staff. I received a phone call from Mark Morrow and to my surprise, I had the option to turn my leased Accord in early in order to get into a NEW Honda right away! From the moment I walked onto the lot clear through leaving the lot that evening with my new Honda Pilot, I received nothing but the best of service. Mark took care of me, every step of the way....even waited patiently while I got my son's carseat in and secure and ready to drive away. I had a wonderful experience, and continue to do so even today as I was able to get paint repair for my new Honda. Thank you Mark, for making that happen today. The Service & Parts guys were also (and always have been) very polite, professional and EXTREMELY helpful. I'm so glad that I decided to lease with Honda, 3 years ago and I'm glad to be in yet another 3 year lease. I'm a dedicated and loyal Pacific Honda customer!! Thanks to all!
