From Business: Albertsons operates a chain of more than 3,200 grocery stores and drugstores in the United States. Established in 1939, the company maintains a location in San De…
Yes Albertsons is expensive compared to other grocery stores but when I have to get groceries I go here because I trust their meat. Sometimes I go to cheaper stores for other products but the meat is pretty good here. I also like the service most of the employees are nice and ready to help. I say hello to many of the employees that work here since I have been going here. I would go to SPROUTS or WINCO for other products because they are cheaper for the same stuff but if you want good meat go here and use your Albertsons card for extra discounts.
I went to San Diego on vacation and stumbled across this market and I was pleasantly surprised. This is the "perfect" store to buy food for a party. They have an excellent meat and produce department. The store was clean the service was excellent. I had the opportunity of trying different types of meats that had been prepared and I was given a cheese to try that I ultimately bought and I got many compliments on the cheese. It was so good!
This very high-end grocery emporium in the location of an old Albertson's store is a visual delight, but after the initial excitement, quickly unveils its true colors as an overpriced supermarket. The volume at this store isn't high enough to assure all the products are fresh and after check out, you find you've just spent more per person for take out than you would have at any of the areas top restaurants--without having to do your own dishes at home.
I really enjoy this market very much. It's just like whole foods without the expensive prices. The bins of different nuts, candy, granola, etc etc are amazing. So many different types of ingredients. The produce and veggies are very fresh and always tasty. I really enjoy shopping at Sprouts markets.
This particular Von's store always provides a good shopping experience. Perhaps it's because it's surrounded by residential homes in near the Kensington area. Seems like the grocery store workers are more helpful & sincere here compared to other Von's stores.
I buy all of my produce here when I get the chance it is half of the cost or more than half the cost of Albertsons, Ralphs and such. Recommend going here to save money on produce
Great large store with all the new features including a starbucks, bank, pharmacy, deli and fresh sushi. Very friendly people too. I always go to the vons on midway dr.
Great selection and prices are okay. I especially like the quality of their produce. Parking is always a problem though.. Not ralphs fault, popular center
Great place for organic produce, nuts, meat and fish. With Trader Joe's on the same street, you can get all your shopping done in two stops.
