Dr Elizabeth Hofmeister has absolutely no regard for health care directives or the bill of patient rights. I am trying to help my mother make an informed decision on cataract surgery and Dr Elizabeth Hofmeister can't be bothered -IN SEVERAL MONTHS- to pick up the phone and answer some questions on my mothers proposed surgery. The doctor has rescheduled cataract surgery repeatedly for several months now, my mother has graves disease and is legally blind and has difficulty understanding complex information and making an informed consent on her own. This is all in Balboa Naval Hospitals medical database where my mother is being treated for graves disease. My mother shows up with a health care directive and the actual questions written out and the Doctor can't be bothered to answer any questions pertinent to the treatment. Doctor scheduled another visit months away and wants me to show up if I have any questions ... she can't be bothered with a 5 minute phone call. Medical Board complain goes out first thing tomorrow in the mail!

If you're a mom, a full time working mom at that, you know how hard it is to make appointments for yourself, but I heard great things about their selection of designer frames and was happy to hear they had late appointments so I wouldn't have to miss much work to get my appt done. I left work 45 mins early, picked up the kids from daycare and arranged to meet my husband in the parking lot for a hand off to make my 5:30 appt. At 5:15, I was still in a bit of traffic on the 15 so I called to let them know I MIGHT be 5 mins late. I was told I'd need to reschedule. I explained I might not even be late but wanted to give them the courtesy call just in case. "We will have to reschedule." For the record, I wouldn't have been late after all and they are open until 6:30. Thanks a lot 4S Optometry. Way to help out a new customer. I won't be making another appointment.

I've seen Dr. Reeder for two annual exams now and am very happy with his level of care and the great results I've gotten from changing my contact rx to mono vision and to bi-weekly disposable lenses. I have not had to wait longer than 10 minutes either visit and staff members are friendly and instill confidence. When I scheduled my last appt I was offered a slot within 1 week because of a cancellation - I really appreciated that.
Everyone in the office was wonderful. Dr. Sandler was very thorough when going over my results. Best experience ever.
