I hired Mr. Rocha to file my divorce. All my interactions after payment were challenging at best. He was very rude and condescending. I felt that he was shaming me for not knowing the law. He would interrupt me after 3-4 words into my question. Overall I felt he was harsh and treated me with very little respect and patience. He offers a flat rate fee of about 500 for uncontested divorce. Basically he gives you the paperwork, you fill it out, and he files it for you. An easy 500 in his bank account. I've been working in customer service for over a decade now, with a respectable large corporation that's been around since 1936 and is now one of the top 3 insurance agencies in the U.S. I feel that I'm very knowledable of how customers should be treated and want to be treated. My apologies to Mr.Rocha for not having gone to law school. I don't question his knowledge of law, but question his ability to empathize with his clients that are clearly going through a difficult time. Better customer support would have led me to pay for more services. However my interactions with Mr.Rocha led me to seek legal advice elsewhere.
David Wilkinson is a fine attorney. I have used his services in 2 legal matters
Tara is smart and thoughtful. I would recommend her to anyone.
I have very mixed feelings about Claery and Green.I will say that it is buyer beware with any family law attorney. Lance Claery gave me poor advice with how to proceed with child custody in order to get money from me. I wasted time and money taking a course of action that I now realize was unwise to begin with.At the outset of my divorce, they assigned a young inexperienced lawyer who tried, but ultimately did not want to even practice family law, so she left the firm.At an important child custody hearing, they sent a brand new lawyer, who was not familiar with my case. Finally, they assigned Eli Hammond to my case and I thought he performed admirably - he must be the one associate that they value because I think he's the only guy who is still there 3 years later.I cannot say that I recommend Claery and Green because you cannot trust their advice. They are not in the business of providing reputable legal assistance, they are in the business of telling people what they want to hear in order to extract dollars from them.
Claery and Greene may work for some people, but it was a nightmare for me. In a nutshell:I was put into a very difficult situation and was inclined to seek legal advice. At a VERY trying time in my life I was assured by Aran Treadway, and later Sean Sobottka, that this crisis would be handled swiftly and effectively. I was told that things would be done within several weeks, a couple months tops. Fast forward 10 months or so, and things are now FINALLY wrapped up. I was also made to believe I was being charged for a flat fee and ended up spending well over twice that. They WILL nickel and dime you. Throughout the whole process, I was passed along to at least half a dozen different agents. I'll admit, my case was probably not an extremely profitable one for them, but nonetheless, this was a nightmare for me. I recommend staying far away from them. If you decide to hire them, read everything twice and ask ample questions.
Wilkinson & Finkbeiner is home to some of the best lawyers in the county. They're eager to help out individuals going through the taxing divorce process, and will try everything in their power to help you. They cover all aspects of family law such as divorce, child custody, spousal support and can even assist you post-judgement if the initial terms of a previous divorce are not satisfactory.
Please DO NOT retain this law firm and/or any of its paper pushing, ill-equipped lawyers. They were so flawed in handling my case that they don't even deserve a single star. I support the person who stated that the law office is good at selling their services but they DO NOT produce anything or progress to quickly handle your case. They will suck you dry financially and "bill" you for everything down to the ink on the paper. It is not about you the client, it is in all honesty about stringing you along for their own financial gain. Trust me, you'd be better off hiring Gloria Allred for the ridiculous money Claery & Green "bill" for.
I would recommend this firm definitely. Attorney Lance claery helped me through a very difficult legal matter I was going through with my employer. He managed to help me out and protect my rights, He put my employer in line right off the bat from the very first letter. I am happy with the outcome and value.
