Crossland Economy Studios in San Diego, CA

This review is authentic and based on a real experience I had with the managers of this complex. When I originally moved in, I was not given a list to document current discrepancies that were there before I moved in. When I pointed this out to the manager, she was very evasive. This is a very unpleasant woman. Whenever I needed some sort of maintenance done, her husband was sent in. This man is a totally incompetent individual, and he doesn't even bring his own tools. When it was time to move everything, I discovered mold growing on the back of our bedroom furniture. Instead of doing anything about it at all, the manager made every possible excuse in the world to push responsibility onto someone else. The windows in this apartment are either not the correct ones, or they were installed incorrectly. A significant amount of mold builds up on every window sill within a month. I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to cleaning, so I found this very disturbing. The manager's working hours are literally 3 or 4 hours a day, so talking to her is difficult. The carpet is so old that it is wrinkling in several places. I originally paid for a parking spot, but I was never issued one and had to pester the manager to get my money back for that. A couple of the garages in the complex are used solely for the accumulated crap of her and her husband. The move out experience was a total nightmare, and this manager is the most unprofessional person I have ever come across. It took over 45 days to get my security deposit back. I highly advise against moving into this horribly managed apartment.
