We never thought that selling our home would be so stressful. Originally we placed our home on the market without an agent. We paid a small fee to have it listed on the MLS and put an add in the Newspaper. We had some results about 3 people per week were coming to see our home and a few people told us they were going to give us an offer. The offers never came. I had an experience some years ago where the agent listing my fathers home just sat on it and would not give the listing up for 6 months. I was very skeptical of what would happen if we listed our home with a Real Estate agent. After seeing Victoria & Steve's signs and the marketing they were doing we decided to interview them. We were very impressed with their presentation. Both of us were surprised at how realistic they were and the fact that they would use so many different ways to market our home. We were still a little sceptical about hiring them, but we decided to trust them and do it. Well, that was one of the best decisions we have ever made. They under-promised and over-delivered. When they got this listing they moved; we had marketing material in our home the next day and a sign in front which was stocked with brochures. They held a open house the first Sunday and planned on having one the next week as well. We had a dramatic increase in the flow of people coming to see our home. Everyday we had at least one new person and most days two or three new buyers. I was amazed. On the ninth day after our home was on the MLS with Victoria and Steve we sold our home. If you are considering buying a home or selling your home I would highly recommend that you work with Victoria & Steve. Their comprehensive, systematized and relentless marketing effort is in my opinion the best that you will find. They not only work with you to sell your home they help you every step of the way. Even though we were in the slowest season of the real estate market they negotiated the highest possible sales price in only 9 days on the market! We appreciated their constant valuable communication and their team's coordinated efforts to help make this process as easy and stress free as possible. We would very much recommend their services to anyone

...I happened to be searching the 'net, for the exact location of Mr. Cornwell's new office location, and found this site; in reading the reviews posted by others who have dealt with Mr. Cornwell, I was rather taken aback at the comments. Is everyone talking about the very same person, whom I have had the utmost pleasure in associating with, for the past 15+ years, having occupied four delightful rental locations?? Granted, Mr. Cornwell has been known to be very insistent, disciplined and to the point, as far as punctuality on rent payment, personal information used for rental qualification, late payment leniency within reason, and overall customer service; however, over and above all of this, he has proven to be one of the most cordial, honest, fair and trustworthy landlords, whom I have had the utmost pleasure in dealing with. Potential tenants would do best to understand that one has to most assuredly be strict and disciplined, albeit cordial and accomadating in the landlord/tenant-associated real estate business, and in that respect, Mr. Cornwell has, time and time again, exceed those expectations and attributes, as far as being 'fair, but firm'. I remain very hard-pressed to imagine Mr. Cornwell in any other light than this, and any previous commentary may well be grossly/suspiciously/negatively fabricated, due to trivial disgruntlement or gross misunderstanding.....
My husband and I recently moved to SD from Seattle. We met Bill from Countywide to take a look at our first place in the Mission Bay area. Bill was, and continues to be incredibly friendly, informative, upfront and professional in the process of procuring our new home. His place was one of the first we walked through and Bill impressively encouraged us to look at other properties in order to gain more knowledge and peace of mind in the process of making our decision. When's the last time you ran across someone who wants your money and encourages you to check out his/her competition? He accommodated our timelines; has been extremely prompt in correspondence and when his home ended up being our number one choice, he worked with us personally and professionally in finalizing the terms of our rental agreement and assuring our absolute satisfaction. Bill's presentation, thorough follow-through on all matters related to renting our new home and the rapport we have established contributed greatly to our decision to return to work with him as our property manager. We feel very lucky to have met and established a working relationship with Bill and highly recommend working with him.
After I retired, I moved from LA to San Diego to be close to my daughters and spend a whole bunch of time with my grandchildren. Since I do not have anything to worry about aside from myself and my wife Anne, I usually spend a lot of my retirement benefits buying anything for my daughters and their kids even though I know they are capable of buying it themselves. However, I experienced some financial difficulty when my wife Anne had to undergo surgery. Had to exert a lot of effort looking for money.. When everything was alright, my daughters introduced me to Reyes Financial Architecture since they do not want me to just throw away my hard earned money. And so we did invest & fortunately, the decision is probably one of the best that I had made in my life. I have truly made a sufficient and decent monthly returns on top of my pension. Now Anne & I do not have to worry and will just enjoy the remaining days of our lives going to places we have always dreamed of. God bless and may all retirees be able to live their lives to the fullest after years of hard work!
I have a really great agent at Realty Executives - Mary Lawler. She worked with a friend of mine for over 6 months to find them the perfect house in Scripps Ranch and negotiated a good price for them in a crazy market. When it was time for me and my large family to quit renting and buy another home, Mary showed us just the right homes for the size of our family and for our budget. She was there to make sure that the inspection and appraisal were done fairly and on-time and made sure that our home was ready for us to move right in. She is very knowledgeable about mortgage loans and the entire buying and listing process. I highly recommend her to anyone considering selling or buying in San Diego County. Her website is www.marylawler.com . By the way, she's a really nice person, too. She coaches kids in sports and plays some sports herself. She seems to know everyone and works well with other Realtors even if they are cranky. She made our home-buying experience a great one!
Amy Green with Coastal Premier Properties is the best real estate agent around. Since 2007, she has been our agent, and we wouldn’t trust anyone else. Amy Green knows all the various nuances of San Diego’s real estate market and how to steer her clients in the right direction. She’s honest, trustworthy, devoted, attentive, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. My husband and I always felt as though Amy Green was more of a friend than an agent. She took our calls at all hours, never hesitated to answer the most redundant or ridiculous questions, and if she didn’t have the answer, she always had someone reputable we could call for further information. For any future purchases, Amy Green will be our agent. She treats her clients like family and that’s why people continue to speak so highly of her. Whether your budget is small or large, Amy Green and company always make you feel as though you’re the most important client.
Victoria and Steve are true real estate professionals. As first time sellers, we were convinced that we had selected the right people to help us sell our home with their outstanding preparation and approach to our needs. From start to finish, Victoria and Steve were always available for consultation and to provide frequent updates. They succeeded in getting us the best possible price for our home and were patient and understanding at all times. They even did all of this under a strict time limit, since we are moving out of the country, and preparing for the delivery of our daughter too!! Victoria and Steve did not flinch at any of these limitations, but set about to provide us with their excellent service. We have no hesitation is giving Victoria and Steve our highest recommendation to anyone needing knowledgeable real estate professionals, and would be pleased to provide any further information.
Steve and Victoria Gore are truly experts in real estate. Beginning with our first meeting, through the sale of our home and buying another home, both Victoria and Steve considered our interests first in every decision. We know them to be sensitive to our needs, always available to genuinely speak about our search as people with family concerns. Both Victoria and Steve have the ability to willing to listen to us, and then make suggestions using their professional knowledge and wisdom to go that extra step to help get us our dream house. We have great respect for their integrity as well as trust in their skills. We highly recommend that you consider discussing your needs with them; you’ll never look back.
I'd say the front office person, Gina, is very helpful. The review I read is really ridiculous as no one would say what was alleged were said, under those conditions, and not be terminated. I have had good success with communicating with Gina. Although the company and I got off to a bit of a rocky start (probably most my fault), they have been responsive to my requests and needs. And, I've been a home owner since 1984 so, I'm probably not a good renter having had complete control of my home situation for 27 years! I never write reviews, but I felt compelled when I saw the one review that was negative about Gina and Countywide Real Estate and Property Management.
Thanks again for all your hard work selling our home. We would recommend you (and already have!) with enthusiasm to our family and friends. We are grateful for your high standard of business ethics and professionalism at every stage of the process. Also, you and Steve went the extra mile to stage our home and market us -- even loaning us your own couches and tables. We appreciate the buyers your team brought to see our property as well as those of other agents. Nothing says it better than that -- except perhaps that our home sold! Thank you for bringing kindness, warmth, humor and patience to these past few months. We wish you and Steve only the best.
