After meeting with several Psychologists, I was very pleased with John Parker. When the future of your children is on the line, you want to work with a professional that actually knows what they are doing. John Parker is that professional and he is the one Psychologist I would not hesitate to recommend.

A lifelong battle with fear, anxiety, and depression, full of prescription medications that simply treat the symptoms, led me to search for help.I w…
Dr. Futterman is a shining diamond in the field of therapists. I don't even see her in her specialty of women's sexuality issues. Long-term issues and depression have ceased to exist in my life as a result of my work with her and through EMDR thereapyShe is the most professional, brilliant, insightful, therapist and person I have had the honor to know and to work with.If you are serious about resolving lifelong or short term issues, Dr. Futterman is your person! She has also recommended other professionals that are outstanding in their practices.
Dr. Corbett is insensitive and showed no empathy. She is also unprofessional and has no filter. For instance, she says the first thing that comes to her mind without thinking how this affects me as a client. She cannot control her emotions and does not hesitate to share her biases. For example, if you are a pet lover, don't share that with her because she will chastise you as she did with me. She is LOUD, dominates the conversation, and insists on being right all the time. It is her way or the highway. As a client, I could barely get a word in. In fact, she talks about herself and her family a lot and my needs are put aside. It is all about HER, HER, HER! I thought that psychologists are supposed to validate clients' feelings and not judge them. The opposite is true for her.... She will berate me then give me a lecture on what I'm supposed to feel. As a result, I feel belittled and judged, Dr. Corbett is constantly late and she does not even apologize each time it happens. To illustrate, I will be waiting for almost half an hour because either she is not in the office yet or she is with another client. Despite the inconvenience, she will simply brush it off or not say anything. Hence, I feel disrespected and devalued as a client. She DOES NOT RESPECT PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY. For example, she readily shares her former clients' issues/problems especially those who left her a negative review. She tells me stories about their life which is inappropriate and UNETHICAL. Further, She shares information about her current clients behind their backs. I am a patient person and gave her several chances to improve. However, the sessions got worse and worse.... I was stressed out during our sessions because I do not know when she will blow up and yell at me. One of the most therapeutic things that I did to myself was to stop seeing her. I realized that she did more harm than good. If only I read her reviews beforehand, there is no way in the world that I would see her! Looking back, I can relate with other clients who left a negative review because I experienced them myself. Finally, I won't be surprised if her license gets revoked one of these days because of her UNETHICAL and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior. She is the worse psychologist that I've ever met.
I read positive and negative reviews online about Dr. D. Hoyt. But, after a personal experience I must say my experience was wonderful and great. The staff is very professional. The office manager Hugh is very experienced and knows his stuff very well. Every time I called or made an appointment they were very kind and very helpful. Dr. Hoyt was very pleasant and very understanding and not too quick to make judgments or evaluations. She is very friendly and has a ton of experience in this field. I highly recommend Dr. Hoyt. My personal experience was fabulous.
Called several psychologist for an evaluation. As he quoted $2500 the lowest, we chose him. After a consultation he then stated it would be $3500-$3800 nothing more. After all was done, he then gave us the bill at $4700! Then when trying to get the report it took a month after paying him. We have postponed two court cases because of his inability to deliver. He doesn't even wrote the report. A secretary does. Do not use this therapist!
The incompetence and lack of care and concern for clients was shocking! Jasmine Alexander was abusive and incompetent!
Intrinsically Biased in favor of management – even if management is not paying her and the individual is. Nevertheless, Dr. Hoyt CAN be very likeable in time. //I have experienced Dr. Hoyt in BOTH of the circumstances of the two prior reviewers – including seeing Dr. Hoyt for years. BOTH prior reviewers very accurately describe Dr. Hoyt’s two (apparently) contradictory sides. //But I DIS-agree with the reviewer who recommended that an individual see Dr. Hoyt for therapy. While I was seeing Dr. Hoyt on an individual therapy basis (and paying with my insurance), I found that Dr. Hoyt was comfortable in sending me off into wild goose chases in behalf of the employer. //For one example, Dr. Hoyt recommended that I see a lawyer who was putting together a class-action lawsuit against the US military for having eliminated soldiers for character disorders! !!! Instead, I applied to the Veteran’s Administration for service-connected disability (without Dr. Hoyt’s help) and my application was overwhelmingly successful. //If an employer forcibly refers a worker to Dr. Hoyt for an “evaluation,” – I recommend that the individual REFUSE to take any psychological tests (i.e. MMPI, etc.) with Dr. Hoyt. Instead, take these with Dr. Richard Lavak Ph.D or Ira Grossman Ph.D. [Dr. Grossman is often called upon for a 2nd opinion to Dr. Hoyt’s evaluations, and the two rarely agree! Why ?] //The test results can then be forwarded to any other professionals. Both Dr. Lavak and Dr. Grossman are: UN-biased, helpful and eminent; while Dr. Hoyt is none of these things.
