Overall
Excellent help, staff knows their stuff, great products

Every time, I make the half-hour drive to San Carlos, I'm very satisfied by the service. Road Runner prides itself on personal attention, and I've always walked out with exactly what I need.

The Fit service is excellent. The experts will take topographies of the bottom of your feet and videos of you running on the treadmill in order to gauge what kind of shoe you need to best meet your needs. I had sore ankles after many a long run**, but once they pointed out my pronation and recommended a different shoe and insoles, I haven't had any problems.

If you join the VIP program, a fee that basically pays itself back on your first purchase, you receive discounts every visit. You also get a free pair of shoes on your fifth shoe purchase.

Another added bonus: If you're runner, there are frequent organized group run$** for no charge.

And I don't know what Stevie G. is talking about, because they let me use their customer bathroom, as well as several others who were in the store at the same time.

**Citysearch won't let me publish the plural of ""run."" What is the deal??
