Went to this establishment on 6-15-17. The cole slaw was spoiled, had to be thrown out. The fish was very "fishy", oil appeared to be old and fish was fried too hard. The hush puppies appeared to be reheated, as they were hard and dry. The counter person was nice. I was concerned about eating this meal for fear of getting sick.
there was this one waiter that kept looking at me with a desirable look and I was tempted to except
A couple of days ago bought a case of supermie/ instant noodle, not till gets home realized the expiration being on May 2012, the next day returned to store with intent to exchange, but told the "EXP" listed on the box was the manufactured date, but when came home and opened the box, it clearly states the production date was may 2011, and expiration may 2012, the next day returned to store again with intent to get refund. Met the same girl that told me the day before n provided deceitful & misleading info, but the mgmt step in and being very defensive n tried to persuade me to take exchange which obviously I refused. The store engaged in unfair and deceiving business practice, I also mentioned that I would notify appropriate gov't agencies. We will never shop the store ever again, very filthy store, poor customer service, everyone should stay away from this establishment
We love the fish, I get the cat fillets, my husband gets the whiting. I like that I can request mine be fried extra crispy, and it's not all dried out. It's good fresh fish, not at all salty, like so many other places we've been that do the you buy & we fry. Love the tartar sauce & hush puppies too. I'd give it 5 stars but the fish prices are rather high so you've been warned. The flavor is delicious, not greasy, and reminds me of that good down home cooking in Louisiana- yummy!!!
