I'm really disappointed with RTG, our sales person was really nice and took care of our order and explained everything. We had our furniture delivered Friday on time, but I didn't notice that the delivery guys had put the trash in our personal trash can outside. Our trash pick up was that same day and they had already come by, so when I called RTG to explain to them that my trash was full and that I have nowhere to put my own trash, mind you, we are a family of 7, RTG said it can take 3-5 business days to pick up. I just think its poor customer service. One spends thousands of dollars at this place and once you sign for your order they could care less. All these positive reviews shows that the delivery people know what is expected of them and that using ones personal property is not one of them. We paid $100 for delivery not trash.
Service was great! I've purchased two beds from this company. Unfortunately, they use a delivery man (Roy) who is NOT licensed or bonded. Be aware of those types of delivery men. The company tries to save money by using subcontractors. Their subcontractor will weasel his way out of certain situations, especially when your items are brought to you broken. Overall satisfied with Bargain Beds, but disgustingly dissatisfied with their delivery man! Do yourself a favor, and avoid getting delivery!
I do not want to buy anything from Rooms to Go ever again. I do not trust them. Four and a half years ago my son and I both needed beds. First, I was treated like a 2nd class citizen; however, I was determined to get beds that day. The mattresses I tested out on the display store seemed very nice, comfortable, and firm. They were selling for $600 for each set so I bought two, one for each of us. After the delivery, I was kind of skeptical if they were the same quality I had tested in store; however, I was just happy to have beds and being disabled it is hard for me to shop (or afford very much) After just a couple of years they both began to sag and give way. (It is too bad we can't turn the mattresses over.) Now I am sure I was deceived and because of the poor quality we both need new mattress sets which unfortunately I cannot now afford.
I wish I had read the reviews on YP.com prior to making a purchase at Rooms-To-Go. I would have saved myself many headaches and heartbreaks. The quality of the furniture I was delivered is sub-standard. The delivery personnel said I would have to address any issues with customer service so I signed accepting that they had delivered the furniture. I immediately contacted the customer service department. The person was rude so I stated that I would be returning the furniture. She informed me I could not, because I signed a contract (it was fine print on the back of one of those electronic signature pads). After speaking to a Supervisor and following his request, I sent the pictures of the flaws to Rooms-To-Go never to hear from them again. I will never do business with this company again. Unfortunately every time I look at the furniture, it is constant reminder. Just wanted to add an update...They had an individual respond to many of the negative reviews apologizing for the problems and requested we contact her via email to resolve issues. (Sounded good!) She confirmed that she had received the emails with pics documenting the problems. Wo weeks have elapsed and again, no further response. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I got a gel top king mattress for 800 and I love it.
AWFUL COMPANY! My boyfriend just purchased new bedroom furniture from RTG. On the day of delivery, January 19th, I had been asleep in his bed with my brand new IPhone under the pillow...where I sleep with it every night. I hopped up to go get breakfast knowing they'd be in there for a bit and I needed to get out of the way. As I walked outside the drivers were bickering back and forth and cussing at each other. Extremely unprofessional!! I got to the gate of the property and dug in my purse realizing my phone had been left under the pillow. Knowing I'd be right back, I kept going. Just 30 mins later when I got back we searched his whole room and called the phone over and over which had already been turned off. We then made a police report and now almost 2 months later NOTHING has been done. We call Rooms To Go local office and corporate everyday and they give us the run around. My entire house is furnished with Rooms To Go and so is my boyfriend's and I would just like to let everyone know that unless you want your stuff stolen do not have them deliver your new furniture! This place is ridiculous and very unprofessional.
