This contractor (Fernando Quinones) was a "No Show" to fix my A/C unit during an extremely dangerous heat advisory period. After accepting an expedited work order from American Home Shield (Home warranty company) to conduct repair work on a broken A/C unit, communication with Fernando Quinones established he would service my A/C on the afternoon of July 20, 2018.Ambient's owner agreed to call me around "Noon" to let me know if he could make it in the afternoon. Around 11 a.m. he responded he would be "on the way to my house after his next service call". After taking the entire afternoon off, I waited at the house until 5 p.m. with NO COMMUNICATION (text or phone call) from Ambient. I texted Fernando Quinones several time to inquire as to his status, and attempted several phone calls and left messages on his phone which went unanswered or returned. I then contact the Home Warranty company who was able to get in touch with Fernando, who told the warranty company he couldn't get to my house until the following week. UNACCEPTABLE!! I tried to contact the owner of Ambient again to let him know I was disappointed and all I wanted to was an explanation as to why he stood my up and refused to communicate. I explained a reasonable explanation would be fine, otherwise I would be forced to refer the company as a complaint to the home warranty company and the BBB. This is the responsible course of action for all customers as the community deserves to know they could be taken advantage of by Ambient Recovery Services. Fernando Quinones immediately responded with a text "Do Not Contact Me Again At This Number." I think that response validates and proves my concern as a customer regarding Ambient's complete lack of customer care, service, and integrity. I responded I was moving forward with my complaint(s), to which Fernando texted, "that's fine, I'll tell everyone about your 'threatening' tactics." I guess I shouldn't have expected more.
Horrible! Don't do it. My condenser fan went out on Jul 03 2018 after having it replaced by them only 1 year earlier. First time I was charged over $650, second time charged $320 for the same exact service so that has me questioning the first Tech that came out. So today, July 11, 2018 (only 8 days after my new motor was installed) I noticed that my condenser fan would not kick on. Could hear the power going to the compressor but the fan would not turn. Tried pushing the blade to help start. Nope. Called American. 7 hours later and 88 degrees in my house, they arrive. Tech turned the AC on, checked the connectors giving power to the fan motor and they were loose. When they were tightened, the unit kicked on. I was then billed for $76.31!!! After getting no where with the Technician I called American and spoke with management. They said I was billed because the fault was not related to the last service call (replacing the motor). After informing them that there was a loose connection from the install 8 days ago, they said "The reason you were billed is because we pay our Technicians hourly and they have no way to pay them so the customer has to". So either they just don't want to eat the cost or they are in such bad financial shape as a business that they really can't afford it. Either way, that is not a company you want to do business with. After arguing with them they came back and said that I was billed for this call based off the Techs invoice they did not believe there was anything wrong with the unit, even though the Tech did identify loose connections from the install. My parents used American for 5 years before discovering that they never once cleaned the electronic air filter in their attic. When my dad discovered it, it was completely clogged. He cleaned it and lowered his energy bill by $100 a month. So after paying them to service his unit twice a year to save in energy usage, they likely cost him $6,000 in electricity usage over 5 years. This, combined with my parent's experience has made my parents, brother, realestate investor friend and myself, part ways with this company. Hope their $76.31 was worth it because they just loss several customer and I urge anyone reading this to look elsewhere. There are many companies that will compete for your business by providing good, honest service. Not this one.
Decided to replace HVAC system installed in 2007 and duct system likely installed when house was built in 1984. Received three proposals, all from highly rated companies. Two proposals delivered by a sales reps; Flo-Aire uses techs who do work to assess and provide estimate. Flo-Aire proposal was for upgraded Trane SEER 17 system (other two were SEER16) and about 30% below the next best bid. Decided to choose Flo-Aire but concerned that maybe the quality might be compromised due to the lower cost. Pleasantly surprised that every aspect of the 3-1/2 day project met or exceeded our expectations. All of the F-A team was highly professional and well experienced. Outstanding value for what we needed! I would recommend strongly to include this company in your consideration and to believe what they tell you about what you may need. Their office walls contain numerous Trane awards over many years. I can now understand why.

I usually never write reviews but when someone commits fraud to the tune of 5 figures I feel I must warn other consumers. We hired this guy for our large commercial building project. He was paid 100% for the contract. He wired things wrong, did not provide all the materials we contracted him for, had unskilled helpers that he did not supervise, did not get a final inspection, etc. this was a huge project for 74k . We had to hire another company to fix everything that he started. BEWARE!! This guy is a wolf in sheeps clothing.
I was told there was a issue with the high voltage for the compressor he could not repair and he charged me forty dollars. He was not correct. The second repair person told me it is a switch within the compressor housing. Easy fix and not expensive.
I scheduled an appt and gave my info including email. I was looking for the confirmation by email but it was not there. I called in and spoke with a lady that said my email wasn't documented so I gave it again and she said that The service tech would be coming out to service The unit. The I received a voice mail about an hour after I called and they were going to reschedule my appt. I called back again and the lady I had set up the appt said they were going to reschedule because they had not spoke to me about the tech. Not very professional. Would not recommend.
Mark was great and extremely knowledgeable. I had one of my blowers go out after 11 years and Mark quoted me such a great price that I went ahead and bought two new ones. He knows his craft and was extremely personable. I signed him for a service contract and look forward to having him take care of my AC/Heating needs for years to come!!!!
They did a really great job. Impressed with the installers. Save me money on my rebate. I would recommend Ike's AC to anyone. Very honest.
They know what they are supposed to do and they do it very well. Well earned 5 stars and are extremely honest. Will recommend to friends and family.
