They make the tortillas there and all other ingredients are fresh made from scratch. I live the chips n queso! Brisket taco is ok but the chicken bacon ranch is really good. Chicken flautas with queso is great! Best chips we've had in Texas trip. Prices are good too. We could feed family of 9 for under $20. Friendly service.
Only tried the drive-through several times. Loved the quality of the food. Good prices, good selection of plates, fairly quick service. 1st time I went, they only had soda in a can. Good location for Randolph employees & residents. Didn't eat inside, but quite a few customers. The building…
Visiting San Antonio over the weekend from LA. Read the reviews and made an effort to find this place, and we were not disappointed. The tamales, salsa, and tortillas are amazing. If you love Mexican food, this place is a must when visiting San Antonio.
I grew up in San Antonio and throughout my lifetime have lived all over the world; but when I come home to Texas I have to have my Jacala. \r \r Jacala has been in business since 1949 and their food and service has ALWAYS been consistently great!! You will not find a better plate of Tex-Mex an…
We have been to Matamoros a few times now since we've moved to San Antonio. We have always had a great experience. First time we went was on a Saturday night for the salsa dancing. The band is great. We have since gone back for lunch and dinner and have always really enjoyed our food and service…
Hole in the wall, no question about it, but comfortable and clean. The food is fantastic and the salsa they serve with their chips, I literally just wanted to drink it!! I had picadillo gorditas, very tasty and not greasy like other places! I will definitely come back!
17. Quarry Hofbrau
We had a horrible evening at the Hofbrau in San Antonio on Jones Maltsberger Rd. The managers did not care about our complaint about the blowing fans above our heads outdoors. It was a beautiful evening but the fans froze us out. We asked that they be turned down and all we got from our waitr…

Ruben's has been in my family for generations. When i finally was old enough my aunt let me work for a day. just a day. that was all it took to understand how hard those ladies worked. in christmas time there are no exceptions to waiting for tamales. my dad would wait outside at 2am in the cold …
My girlfriends and I came here for lunch& were seated right away . We told the waitress we had separate checks. When the food arrived the waitress had not set out our utensils. So we were hungry w/food in front of us and no way of eating it. Now the food was great. i ordered the mole enchila…
Good food, & service in this restaurant.
I have been going to this restaurant for well over 20 years and everything about the food and service has only got better.
Good food at a great price!!🌮
Ordered food to go but to work order was wrong, called called them they took my name told me to return next day and would give me food the way I ordered it. Returned next and was not hounered!!!
Very good service and food
My husband and I are here yesterday morning and we loved it staff was great food was so good, went back the next day
Pretty good food, but very slow service. When we were ready to go although we were the only people in the restaurant it took the staff a good 10-15 minutes to figure out the bill and take our money.
El Rodeo provided me with excellent food and service! I had the steak and shrimp Parrillada (#32 on the menu)... Extremely delicious! It came on TWO plates; one had the steak and shrimp, and the other had beans, rice, guacamole, lettuce and tomatoes. The service was great too. They brought the menu and nacho chips, cheese and salsa (all still piping hot) and took my order within the first two minutes after I arrived. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The waitress and manager came by my table about four times to ask how the food was and to check if I needed anything. El Rodeo will definitely be one of my regular stops.
I am Native New Mexican And this place hits the Spot!! Tastes just like our Food back home that I know and love. The service is Top notch Just like the food I Highly recommend The Enchiladas!! Thank you guys for bringing my Childhood food to Texas!!
