Being a vegetarian, I had a good experience at Joy Buffet. The prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed my egg drop soup, a beautiful vegetable medley with brown sauce, rice noodles, cucumber salad and seaweed salad. The deserts were good. Plenty of parking and service was very good.
Never again will I bring my family to this horrible, disgusting place. The food is so gross! Seems like you're eating leftovers. The bathrooms are so dirty and there is some suspicious white powder all along the bottom sides of the walls and tables. Wondering if it could be rat or roach medicine. Wish I had gotten the name of the lady ringing us up. She claims she is the manager, but for a manager she had a disgusting mouth. I was simply stating a fact about my 11yr old son being charged as an adult . She raised her voice at me! The customer! Stating my 11yr old is an adult. Then turned around and said I was scaring her child that works there. I asked her how old she was, and she said 13! Her child is 13, but my 11 yr old child is considered an adult! Makes no sense to me. I calmly told her to please ring me up so I could get out of there and instead of hearing me out she continued to yell at me . Horrible, horrible customer service. Never again will I step foot in this disgusting restaurant! Hope it gets shut down soon. Doesn't even deserve the 1 star. I give it a 0.
Great food & wide selection at the lunch buffet. Our office comes here several times a year for special occasions like farewell or birthday luncheons. I never heard anyone complain. And very reasonably priced.
First time here, last time. Food is awful! Paid $30 for my son and I to eat mainly Jello....will never go back.
My Fiance and I came to the newly opened restaurant around opening time. We were greeted right away and drink order taken we began to explore all the items everything looked fresh and well organized as well as clean. I cant stress that clean part. If someone even had a crumb put out someone would be right out to clean it up. The sushi was ok and all the food out on warmers was good. However the star of the show that people rarely took part of is the Mongolian Grill area making your own lo mein or stir fry and making it how you want. It was delicious and Id return for all but especially that part. They were quick at refills as well as getting the check. The price was a steal for lunch. 18 dollars for the two of us not including tip but well worth that money. Definitely try this place out it was delicious and great service.
excellent buffet the best in San Antonio. we just love it! fresh food!
This is the best place to eat 5 star food and Servive
Just left there after waiting 30 mins to be waited on. They took forever cleaning our table and getting us seated. Then we didn't have menus or drinks. Waited 10-15 more mins with no one even speaking to us. We gathered our stuff and walked out.It was our first time there. They weren't busy and I had called ahead to make sure they had space for our party of 7.
The style relaxed. Quality and variety of food is excellent. Many different choices so no one can possibly be disappointed. This is the best sushi I have eaten on 3 continents.
Always friendly , great servers! Favorite place to chill and have a great time. Luv y'all !
