We had trouble getting a return phone call or email. Unfortunately, the lady who answers their phones got an earful from my husband on several occasions. Our frustration was with the sales rep & production manager but we could never get either one of these individuals to return our calls or emails. Once the job is done, you can forget about any follow-up from the company. I sent an email asking for someone to come out to see & discuss some concerns I had about workmanship; two weeks later and I still haven't received a return call nor email. Add to that my husband's disappointment in the quality of the product that was installed on our roof. We had 40yr decorative shingles on our roof which were replaced with a Timberline Lifetime Natural Shadow shingle. These shingles were supposed to b equivalent to what was being replaced but the quality, look, feel, & thickness doesn't come close to our previous shingles. If I could start the selection process over, I'd go with a different company.
I had them out on my property, taking pictures and on my roof over 9 weeks ago. 5 phone calls, 2 voicemails and 3 conversations with the staff and STILL no estimate from them. I'm really not sure why I wasted my time getting them out here, being home for the estimate, calling and asking for the estimate and then never receiving it. Each time I call they promise they'll get it right to me and they never do. Don't waste your time.
I called they told me I would get a call back were going on 2 weeks no call back. I would not use Dahill for any copier in 2014 I had a Rep come to set up service contract I spoke to Robert 10 times that we have not gotten a bill he said he would take care of the contract. I called main office they were going to call me back they have never done now were are in 2016 they told me a new Rep will call they have not I would not use Dahill for any business,
Mr. Sanchez is a great contractor and working with him was a good experience. He and his crew were very consistent in their working and got the job done on time. Not to many honest contractors out there, but he is one for sure. They installed hardie siding, 18 windows and a new roof. The outcome was awesome and he explained the process all the way thru construction.
*** BEWARE***Do not use this Company. We paid Alex $1,000.00 deposit to start project on September 15, 2014 to date he has not started, he does not answer my calls. Alex, only replies in text messages and told me to stop texting him and to take it to small claims court. When I told him I was going to report his license to City of San Antonio he said " Not His License Not his Problem" I have been more than patient with him. We have given him plenty of time to start project or return our money. We did all our homework and checked references and we were still ripped off by this contractor. The only license he has is a license to steal!!
Frank gave me a contract that stated he would finish rehabbing my house in 4 weeks . We are now on month 4 , and we are stuck in the hard money loan . Frank has continuously made excuses , not answered his phone , disappears. He has been caught on numerous occasions smoking pot on the jobs site ! He is has been nothing but a deceiver to us . We have given him all his money but 5% of the remaining balance . Even offered him extra if he would just finish the job like a professional company . We have given him every opportunity to have some integrity and complete the job. Time and time again he has gone back on his word . He can not manage money or be trusted .
Please keep an eye on your billing, they will never give you any documentation that a payment has been made as they expect you to keep track of all of your payments. Also, when a payment is received, they adjust your billing and apply it as needed. Once this company has you under contract, they will treat you like a second class citizen!
I would give this business a ZERO star rating. John Bump owner of J&L Constuction entered into a contract with me on June 3, 2011, to replace windows and replace rear siding. I paid him $3,365.00 as a down payment on the entire job. Throughout the summer, I made numerous efforts to contact Mr. Bump and have him return my phone calls to determine when he would staret the work on our home. He never returned my calls. On February 2, 2012, after numerous letters to his wife, he sent me a letter stating he was closing out the contract and would refund my entire money. After another letter to his wife, he finally delivered on 4/12/2012, a partial paymebnt of $1,800.00.After repeated letters and a threat to get this resolved legally, Mr. Bump, on June 29, 2012, overnighted vis UPS a check for the remainded of my deposit, $1,565.00. The only thing in the overnight envelope was the check.Mr. Bump not only had my money for over a year without any interest expense, but he also cost me the Federal Income Tax credit for replacing the windows on my home.I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS MAN TO DO ANY WORK ON ANYBODIES PROPERTY.If you want to discuss this incident further, please call me at 210-681-5635
