Awful place to buy a car. Empty promises and a lemon car!!! Bought an audi and within 2 weeks oil light went on. They attempted to fix it , but they couldn't. They refused to give me my money back or rectify situation.
Chrissy in service always does a fantastic job. If you ever need service on your Mercedes in San Antonio go to the dealer on San Pedro and ask for Chrissy.
❌DO NOT GO HERE!!!!🚫🚫❌❌Kentrell sold me a 2014 Ford Fiesta that was a rental they bought to sell come to find out and it made sense after that he didn’t want to hand me the car fax just said it only had 2 owners and pointed at that . It broke down on the way home and had to get a new clutch in by Jordan ford( a super professional dealership) Ketrell would never call me back or pick up his phone and John Brown the better than you attitude GM at VW Alamo heights told me its AS IS and that I’m not welcome back on the property . What a scam !!! This was my daughters 1st car and John & Kentrell knew it .Dealerships should never sell old rentals but VW Alamo heights does
We bought a used 2008 Prius from this dealership on 1/18/13 that had less than 50k miles on it. We declined the extended warranty, because we knew it would have the 60k mile powertrain warranty, and who would expect a car with less than 50k miles to break down? One of the selling points that made us pay an extra $1000.00 over what we wanted to pay was that "This is a good car that's gone through a 118 point inspection that you won't have to fix" (according to our salesman).Six days later, on 1/24/13, the car died completely. It took my husband over an hour to get it home, having to drive it for 20 seconds at a time before it would completely die again. My husband called our salesman, who literally told us we were out of luck since we didn't buy the extended warranty. I then called the used sales manager, who told me the same thing (after hanging up on me once). He finally agreed to have it towed to his service department, but said they probably wouldn't be able to fix it, since it's a Prius. The next day, my husband was so irritated with dealing with the rude sales manager that he called the General Manager, Wes Burke (who is named in some of the replies from VW of Alamo Heights). Wes was very helpful...at the beginning. He told us to have the car towed from New Braunfels to a Toyota dealership in San Antonio (at our expense), and find out if anything could be fixed under warranty. According to Toyota, none of the problems are under warranty, including the auxiliary battery, which goes out slowly, and which should have been caught by the "118 point inspection" done by the dealership before they sell it. When I called Wes back to let him know that the repairs on our 6-day old car are over $700.00, he told me he was pretty sure he wasn't going to do anything, but he would pull the papers from the sale. After waiting for a call back for an hour, I called constantly for 20 minutes until someone finally answered, and he only agreed to pay 178.00 of the 700.00 repairs.I am very disappointed with this dealership, their customer service, and their so-called "inspection" that should have, at the very least, caught that the auxiliary battery was going out. I will still be calling their corporate office (Group 1 Automotive, for anyone else who needs to know) to let them know about this dealership's customer service (especially the sales manager who hung up on me).
Took car into Service department for routine service check. My routine service representative, Tyler Jordan, was very helpful, thorough and had everything organized. The service department is a main real will buy another Mercedes from Mercedes Benz of San Antonio.
Over the past 25 years, I have purchased numerous vehicles from MBOFSA and have always been extremely happy with them. It's always a pleasure when I have my car serviced at MBOFSA. A few months ago, they found my lost earring, as they were washing & vacuuming my car. The earring was on the floorboard and had been missing for months, needless to say, I was grateful and excited when they found it and returned it to me. Gary Sauter has been my service advisor for many years and is and has always been courteous, professional and thorough. I highly recommend MBOFSA due to their fantastic customer service, I have always been pleased.
I am very pleased with purchase of my 2018 Mercedes Benz E300! Mr. John Holliday made the process smooth and simple from selection of my vehicle, the build/shipping and finalizing the purchase documents! I look forward to working with him on future purchases! Great Job, Doc!!
Scammers don't buy there lemons 100% there crooks. all they want is your money nothing but a fly by night operation
My experience was great. Was shown new and used vehicles, discussed what I wanted on the vehicle and ended up buying a used one with minimum miles on it.
