My husband , and myself, just recently went on a promotional package, for a 2 night stay with Wyndham, San Antonio, I am an owner, along with 2 of my sisters.
My husband and myself were recently married July, 2010., he had purchased the promo package from Wyndham months before he was married to me. Not being married, he purchased it for a weekend getaway, and agreed to go on the presentation. We were placed with Shannon, for our presentation. From the beginning, about 5 or 10 minutes into it, the way she treated me, as an owner in the Wyndham ( Formerly Fairfield through Branson that my father purchased in 1995, and deeded over to us, being myself, and two systers, a few years ago.) Please, please, I hope this gets to someone in a Corporate managerial position, and a half decent caring ear.
Shannon, She was so rude and condescending towards me, like I was mentally retarded, the way she spoke to me. She asked us how was our stay so far, and we told her we weren't at all satisfied at staying at the El Tropicana, San Antonio.. The room was so small, like a little rat hole. And just laughed about it with her, telling her this. Because she asked.
We had told her we lived on Lake Palestine, in Chandler, Tx, and we loved it there. She said "" Oh, I've heard of it, let's talk about a rat hole !! "" She goes on to say "" The Villages"" are terrible, that's your rat hole! The water park is half decent."" she says "" but the Villages Lake Palestine, there's your rat hole."" Shannon, the so called professional sales rep with Wyndham San Antonio, trashing the Villages, Lake Palestine. This was starting off our presentation! I wonder what the Villages Lake Palestine, Texas will say when I contact them and tell them how she down graded their beautiful vacation resort, here in East Texas. A so called professional sales rep with Wyndham, San Antonio, Shannon, is calling their place a rat hole. I'll say this also. They may get this from dissatisfied patrons of Wyndham some also, that are offended and say things back. But, Wyndham, maybe you care, maybe you don't care, but let me assure you, my husband, is loaded and she missed a sale, plus a big handful of future generation kids and grandkids. There will from my mouth always be so much negative feedback that I will be spewing forth from this point forward about how we were treated by Wyndham, San Antonio. I wish I would have told Shannon, "" We may look like we're from the sticks, sweetie, and sound like we're from the sticks, little darlin , but you've just poo poo' d Wyndham out of signing up a couple of people right up there like the Beverly Hillbillies. Wyndham, if you are reading this, and I hope someone ""UP THERE"" with the establishment does read this, I will for the rest of my days, and my sisters, and friends, and relatives, and theirs, and so on, ( I have 11 grandchildren that are also going to be so loaded, that Shannon in her on her entire career, her little paycheck $$ from start to finish, will be like change in my grandchildren's grandhchildren's pockets. I will Facebook , and complain from this point forward about how so degrading she talked down to us the first five minutes into the presentation. Big mistake, Ms. Shannon, big mistake. Shannon certainly has lost you guys quite a few future sales with her rude and obnoxious sales pitch. So unprofessional. Wyndham to allow these types of pitches, is just an embarrassment, and I wish my father had never purchased this from you.

My Wife and I booked 5 nights with Wyndham, Tues - Sat, We worked all day Tuesday packed up the car and Drove the 5 hours to San Antonio. We unpacked the car, and got right into bed. on Wednesday 28 Apr 2010 while making the bed we found a grapefruit sized dried HUMAN BLOOD stain on the sheets, bed spread and mattress pad. it was about knee level. I took the sheet to the Resort Manager Ken Williams and asked for new sheets, nothing else. We got our sheets and Ken said he would look into it. Later that day (about 2pm) we received a call from Ken, He told us after his investigation he had determined that we were at fault and he would be charging us a $175.00 room cleaning and Sanitation fee. Which he charged to the CC on File. We left and will never return to another Wyndham.
