        we are not fooled by your marketing reviews!!

        After reading all the reviews of Woodhouse Day Spa I conclude this: It's very easy to get your employees to submit false reviews speaking highly of your facility. Although very nice decor , I am POSITIVE that ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS are completely TRUE!! I am so glad I viewed this site and now know how completely FAKE your employees must be!!
        Word of advice to all you gift certificate holders: TIP!!! If you receive good service!!! This is why you are waiting for hours to receive a service already paid for....when there are regular spa visitors who know how to tip for excellent service!!! Usually not from San Antonio because people from SA are so country and culturally behind. Get a clue all you consumers: TIPPING GETS YOU EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

        Dont bother going. I went in ...

        Dont bother going. I went in for a brow wax today and came out looking uneven. The lady actually told me that all brows are uneven...I have never had this problem. She obviously inverted the scissors and trimmed my brow uneven. i told her just wanted to tweeze stray hairs and I like a full brow. She cut way too high up and I look bald now. I wanted to cry. Not good at all.

        Customer Service is Dreadful

        I recently visited the Woodhouse Day Spa and I have been to many other spas in San Antonio and numerous other cities. Upon entering the spa it was very nice but the aroma was overwhelming. As I went up to the reception desk, the girls were just standing there and talking to one another. I guess what might have been the manager just came up and did something behind the counter without even looking up to greet me or the guest behind me. I received an excellent massage but she seemed to be in a hurry after she was finished. She was very sweet and caring but it seemed that she had a guest right after me. It was overpriced but I guess you pay for the surroundings. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the dreadful customer service at the front desk. I don't understand how you can have lovely surroundings and a great therapist but have this kind of customer service to represent the spa.
