The staff, especially the doorman was very inconsiderate, he was rude and scarcastic. Don't go here unless you intend to get treated like scum, especially if your a shade darker than milk, you should expect to be disappointed!
They do not accept foreign ID's, (how sad considering the amount of tourism in SA) mexican ID's in particular, it's either that or the people at this bar are plain ignorant or racist. I would never recommend this place to anyone!
I wouldn't even recommend one star! But u had to in order to post! >:z

I've had the displeasure of patronizing this establishment on two occasions about a year apart from each other. The latest visit came last night and lasted about 15 minutes as my wife and I stopped in for a couple of pints and stood at the half empty bar, ignored by three bartender/greeters/waiters who never once looked our way or asked if we would like something. My first visit came about a year ago when I stopped in with my wife and in laws. In over an hour, we were served three sodas, one pint and a cold bowl of spinach dip. This place is honestly the sorriest excuse for an ""Irish Pub"" I have ever been to or seen in my life. They shouldn't even be allowed to use the good Irish name lest anyone expecting warmth and good service be mislead. Go ANYWHERE but here!

Our service ended the moment we were seated...literally. We watched waitstaff walk back and forth serving everyone else there except us. It was surreal to say the least.
I'm sure the food would have been wonderful but since they don't serve our kind (whatever that is) we will never know. All I can say is if you have children, are a mixed ethnicity family, or don't look like you shop at Nordstrom's don't even bother.

Badly kept beer, forgetful service and damned atrocious food rank this as among the worst of the Riverwalk. I had a hair in my burger, which was burned, and the Guinness tasted stale. The A/C didn't seem to be working there and it was hot as hell inside, and also smoky. The waitress was really rude and unhelpful.
