Travelodge by Wyndham San Antonio Downtown Northeast

Good people. They attended to my request and I had a good night rest. It was just one night .

We checked early there was a $15.00 charge. Our rooms air condition wasn't working and we got moved to another room. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Waffles, hard boiked eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, pastries, milk, juice, and coffee. We were in town for National's a Karate tournament. I would recommend this place.

After reading the reviews posted for this hotel, I was a bit nervous to stay here. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this Travelodge. Yes, it is an older hotel an when walking through the hallway you are reminded that this is an older hotel, there were some very positive features. The room I had was large with two beds, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The bathroom was large and had been remodeled not long ago. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The large screen TV was nice with a large selection of channels. A roomy desk for my laptop computer was a welcome plus. The wireless internet service was reliable and met my needs. Finally, the morning breakfast was good and plentiful. My only negative was that there are not many dining options near the hotel so you will need to drive somewhere for dinner each evening. Overall, I give it four out of five stars.

I chose this hotel because of the price, but it exceeded my expectations. Thank you very much for everything!

I've stayed here several times. It's always been the #1 choice for me by way of location and price..

We booked thru Hotels.com and thought a three star won't be that bad. We were on a budget this week and I was very sick the day we checked in. We stayed 4 days.Checkin took a bit due to someone telling the hotel guy their life story ( as I was ready to pass out)! But he was prob the owner and was very nice with them and me. I did have my little service animal with me and that was no problem. But he did mention that he DID have a service Animal problem recently with a large hairy dog. I assured him my Yorkie does not shed. So on to our room we went. He gave us first floor easy access with dog and loading our stuff into the room.
Now the room was nice and cool cause it was 92 out ! So the ROOM was recently remodeled and verrrry clean. Nice granite walls in shower too. The beds were also newer and very comfy. We got two full beds so I could spread out.. ya know??! Lol. My Ruby also had a great time being stationary!
I wandered down around 8:45 for breakfast and not much left! Mmm had some Raisin Bran and a hard boiled egg. They were actually still warm ! Nice! Some Asian lady horded huge amounts of food to her room ( like they haven't eaten in a week!) always awful and they have no shame.Everything was a piece of a drive for food but that was ok. We discovered a Chinese/ Phillipino food place about two miles away. It was MAKAI , very good Lumpia and everything Phillipino.
I really wanted to go in the pool but was u see the weather and just too hot! So we would stay here again in a pinch for the budget.

The room was clean, the AC worked and the wifi worked. It was close to downtown and easy to get to. Everything you need for nice stay.

The staff at this Travelodge is both courteous and helpful. The breakfast area was always clean and stocked. Our room was always clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone here on business or vacation. its convenient to Fort Sam, BAMC, Splash Town, the AT & T center, and down town.

This place is a good value for the money and the staff is very friendly. One of the perks of staying there was that they had rooms on the first floor and they were distant enough from the center of the city that the traffic was not bad. At the same time they were not so far from Riverwalk and other attractions that one could not drive there conveniently. I would stay there again if I were in the San Antonio area.

Let me tell u something about supper 8 motel 11471 LBJ freeway garland tx 75241 when u entered on this motel first on the door the guy behind on the counter he smile and say hi what can I help u today and then when u finished he says enjoy the time u spend here u need anything let me know I love that how they care about the customers the most u love about this motel the rooms are clean u don't here any noise no body come bother basically u love everything about this motel come check it out I promise u don't disappointed u enjoy every minutes ..nd second the time u spend over this motel!!

Great place with clean rooms. The manager have me a discount and put me and my co worker up inn a very spacious room...we both had huge beds and our own tv...also they let me park my 18wheeler here and it is a very safe location...just minutes from everything you need.

The rooms/building needed some repair and upkeep. We stayed in a king suite and getting airflow to the first part of the room was a big problem but it was nice having a separate side for the kids. This is not a four star hotel, but a clean comfortable cheap room. Yes it could use some upgrading and a better morning shift desk staff, but over all not terrible. I have stayed in worse that cost more. Don't plan on mush more than coffee and juice for breakfast.

The over all experience was Fantastic. Pros- staff was Awesome very helpful and friendly. Overall rooms were clean and quiet. Pool was very nice. Cons- location it is located with a string of other Hotels but nothing else. Not even a convenience store within walking distance. The bathroom fan needed cleaned real bad. Highly recommend and I definitely would stay there again.

I had a late check in, which I noted on my reservation I made through the Travelodge website. The woman at the counter was friendly when I got there at around 11 pm. Since I had my printed confirmation there was no problem. Yes the hotel is on the old side, but most in San Antonio are. As a woman traveling alone I felt much safer coming and going from this hotel than I did when I stayed downtown and parking was free and convenient at this hotel. The location is great, a little hard to find the first time, but convenient to the highway and lots of restaurants. Should I travel to San Antonio again I'll stay here again.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff members were mostly helpful. They also serve continental breakfast and have a free coffee machine available in the lobby.

I was very impressed. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. Our family really enjoyed this hotel and plan to stay here every time we visit San Antonio
