I had my top and bottom eyeliner done by Giovanna. She was extremely gentle & professional. My experience was wonderful. I asked Giovanna to talk me through the entire procedure because it helped me relax, she did. As in " we are half way done", "just a bit more on the top corner" "we are almost done with one eye". I appreciated her patience and personal touch. I highly recommend her services.

Worst place for a mani/pedi, especially when they advertise a "deluxe" pedicure - got a groupon for my daughter. They advertise a 60min manicure and 60 minute pedicure- combined it only lasted 40 min. They never soaked her feet, instead spraying them with cold water and then try to exfoliate them while they were basically dry. She had to tell the woman to stop because it hurt! Same for the nails, no soaking, very quick filing and minimal attention to detail. They say refining and hydrating in their groupon and lavishing attention to the hands, arms, legs all the way to the thighs and arms up to the shoulder. They didn't even massage the feet or put lotion or anything anywhere other than the nails! I'm letting groupon know of the poor job they did- I had previously read reviews that were favorable, but obviously something has changed!

I went to the S&PM Institute f...

I went to the S&PM Institute for my first body wrap and was pleased with the treatment I received from the staff. They were courteous, professional, and the esthetician who did the wrap was absolutely great. However, I was disappointed with the facility itself. The treatment room in which the wrap was done was actually next door inside a daycare! What made matters worse, aside from being able to hear children's television programming, was when the owner's young son attempted to enter the room while I was undressed and getting wrapped!!! The only thing keeping the kid from seeing through the glass door was a thin curtain. I could see him, but I was reassured he could not see me. The child was turning the knob and finally left after being told several times by staff to go elsewhere.

I've been to several spas and beauty salons, and I must say, the S&PM Institute was the least relaxing of them all. Not worth the money to have an obnoxious child interrupt your treatment while you're undressed. Very embarrassing.

Due to the positive response from our clients, we grew so fast. The reason why you were treated at that room was because we had outgrown our location at that time. We have just moved into a larger facility - 3 times the size - and we have tons of privacy!!

My face had broken out recentl...

My face had broken out recently and I was desperately seeking help. I went to 2 well known estheticians and both told me I had developed adult acne! The latter one prescribed Retin A for me and said my face would clear up over the next 2 weeks. Two weeks later, no dice! I passed through a the Summit Prkwy shopping Center and came a cross the Skin & Permanent Makeup Institute and went in on a business related issue. While in talks with the owner about the services they offer, she politely mentioned that they can fix me up in no time! I had heard that before but there something so confident in her voice that made me feel so willing to give it another go. Tina was the available esthetician and asked me to come back as her las appt of the day so she can spend as much time as he needed on me lol Tina was awesome and knows what she is doing! Turns out, I do not have adult acne nad had way too many products on my face causing all the breakouts! UGH!!! After 2 hours of microdermabrasion, clarifying mask, facial w/ massage, extractions and a few other cool device assisted procedures I was done! my face looked like a hot mess for about 2 hours after BUT .... the next day my skin was glowing and has been getting better since then!!! I am now a loyal client and I am a walking testimony. The great thing about SPMI is they don't offer basic facials like Euro, refreshing, etc. they strive to diagnose your skin and fix it .. wether it's sun damaged, aged, hyper pigmentation, acne, they don't limit you to one procedure ... they do "whatever your skin needs". I was so comfortable with Tina and the rest of the staff, Overall a great, clean, professional environment but not at all pretentious!

Great training!

I took their permanent makeup class and it was so great! They took their time making sure I understood everything. They made sure I was comfortable doing the procedures on my own. They were super professional. I saved a lot of money, too.
